dubq 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2003 Well it only said Holland on the buisness card. They didn't show his face...I don't think. I'm sure it was another actor playing Holland. A younger one, I mean. The card did say Holland Manners...
Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2003 Fun episode. The wrestling was silly, but I liked #5 and I especially liked the walks, talks, and reflections on heroism. But please, someone sit the Angel-only writers down with Joss or Drew Goddard and have them get a Spike tutorial. He was awful in this one. Only a few writers really seem to have figured out that he doesn't need to say "mate" or "sod" every other line.
fazzle 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2003 Something needs to shake up this season. I don't want to admit it, but I'm very bored by it so far. =\ I miss the old days. Agreed. So far there hasn't been a single episode this season that's been anywhere near as good as any of the episodes from last year. (minus the Vegas episode. Cause that one was pretty boring)

LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2003 I liked the episode. the wrestling was bad, but then again, it was supposed to be lucha libre 50 years ago. I read the poilers for next weeks ep on another message board, you can get to it through this site: SpoilerSlayer And while it does seem like a good episode, man those people on that board just rip it apart. Makes most of you guys look like freakin' optimists And for those who wanted Spike solid again: Spoiler (Highlight to Read): I believe it is in two weeks when a mysterious package arrives at Wolfram and Hart for Spike. Upon opening it, he becomes solid again. the downside is that the computers go crazy, as do most of the employees at Wolfram and Hart. More details can be found threw the above link. Enjoy! Holy crap that episode sounds awesome! There's the point where it heats up and it shows that what we've seen so far isn't pointless.

Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2003 what's the deal with vampires and eating? Angel doesn't eat, according to season 1 which is all I've seen. But Spike apparently enjoys Onion Bursts or w/e they're called, according to today's Buffy ep, and an ep in season 5. This seems different than Angel saying he has no breath in one episode of Buffy, cause in I Will Remember You, Angel started devouring things like he hadn't eaten in 200 years, and also said he hadn't eaten when Cordy said he got peanut butter on the bed. BTW, Onion Bursts = gross

Cavi 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2003 But Spike apparently enjoys Onion Bursts or w/e they're called, according to today's Buffy ep, and an ep in season 5. Spike telling Andrew about onion blossoms while on the motorcycle is gold. "Tell anyone we had this conversation and I'll bite you."
Anakin Flair 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2003 MAJRO SPOILER FOR SWEEPS! DON'T READ IF YOU WNAT TO BE SUPRISED! Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Andrew will be making a guest appearance around the 100th episode during sweeps. Also around this time, the Slayer storyline is worked into Angel via a disturbed young mental patient in an episode where, if the spoilers are correct, is going to be exceedingly disturbing. Hank Kingsley 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2003 Oh my god, I just watched "She" from Season One. Angel and Wes dancing is officially the greatest thing ever.

Anakin Flair 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2003 This is Episode 11, set for the Feb. sweeps. One more spoiler, not for the weak at heart: Spoiler (Highlight to Read): In this ep, the slayer in question is a girl who was kidnapped and tortured and, at the end of the episode, she apparently cuts off Spike's hands. Hank Kingsley 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2003 Okay, Season One rocked hard. Initially I was bothered by it being all standalone episodes, but I ended up completely satisfied with the finale. It is interesting how they introduce Shanshu in Season One but really just start to build on it in Season Five. Lindsey rocks, by the way. And Angel turning into Angelus = mark out. Anakin Flair 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2003 Total holy shit moment for me here- I'm watching "13 Days", the Costner movie about the Cuban Missle Crisis, and who plays Jackie Kennedy? None othe than the "foxy" Stephanie Romanov. You would know her better as Lilah Morgan. Freaky.

BTW, Onion Bursts = gross A) They can eat. They don't have too. They can't taste anything except for the blood. So if a Vampire is eating, it's only out of habit. B) In 'I Will Remember You' Angel had been turned HUMAN, and therefore he could taste again. It only makes sense that he'd want to devour everything in sight. C) The peanut butter in the bed thing WAS Cordy. She was just putting the blame on him. Hope that helps...

Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2003 Oh my god, I just watched "She" from Season One. Angel and Wes dancing is officially the greatest thing ever. Yeah. The episode itself was pretty weak but Angel and Wes dancing is one of the funniest moments in Buffyverse history, if not THE funniest.
