Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2003 God Willing it's Shane It'll be Jericho. You, I and everyone else knows that Raw needs to lose the only thing it's got going for it. It has to be him. Or someone on the Raw side as SD has 3 (why was I thinking 4?) people already. And no, Triple H doesn't count. Unless he's hurt in his match against Goldberg. ...wait that could happen. Nevermind.
NYU 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2003 They have to stop with this "trading-the-title" back and forth bullshit. We've gone from Angle in December to Lesnar in March to Angle in July to Lesnar in September. It's time somebody else holds the WWE Title, and I don't mean the Undertaker or the Big Show. And does anyone else find it scary that Brock has been in the federation a little more than a year, and he's already been given the Heavyweight title 3 times ? Something just seems wrong with that. JN News 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2003 Let's run down the injury list for this week alone: Hurricane Lesnar Haas Benjamin So, to complete the trifecta, who's getting injured at the ppv this sunday? HHH
Guest Choken One Report post Posted September 17, 2003 What I want to know is if it's a good match. Looks like between the injuries and Angle's sister there is a lot of bad news tonight. Oh, and Eddie better face Brock at S Series. That's the tentative plan for the moment... But if Lesnar's injury is more severe...Who knows...Perhaps they could do A nice little 4 Way Tourny with Eddy, Benoit, Angle and Taker. Yes...FOUR FACES! So change that to Eddy, Angle, Cena and Tweener Taker.

Something just seems wrong with that. No. It's not. Sadly, this is what happens when you get the fastest push to the top ever. You either retain your topmanship or fall down the card pretty damn fucking hard (if you can't halt the momentum of the fall). Or WWE decides you "need to create challengers for the title when you win it again" and so job you out like a bitch till you get the title.

Damaramu 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2003 Damn...so Angle's cup of tea with the title ends....I was hoping for a meaningful reign. Oh and didn't Brock/Taker headline No Mercy last year? AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2003 Taker/Lesnar should be good. Taker's managed to be a prettu hard worker these days, and Lesnar will likely feel he needs to bust his ass to try to show up Angle in Angle's match with Taker the other week. No Mercy is going to be a bitchin' PPV. That, Angle/Cena, Los Guerreros vs. one another, WGTT on the card in some capacity, and throw in a good Cruiserweight match, and we're cookin'. I dunno if Benoit will finish the angle with Rhyno by then, but hopefully they'll be on the PPV, if not against each other then against some decent opponents. Which one this time? Vince or Steph? Or both? *shudders* And judging by recent tv, it looks like they're building to a Benoit/Rhyno/A-Train match at No Mercy. I know, I'm estatic too... Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2003 Brock Lesnar defeated Kurt Angle minutes ago at tonight's Smackdown tapings in Raleigh, N.C. They went the full 60 minutes despite Lesnar having suffered a knee injury (feared to be a serious ACL tear) over the weekend. Lesnar won five falls to four clean. Thank you, WWE, for once. Oh, and Eddie better face Brock at S Series. I'm all for Guerrero / Lesnar again, but I was more interested in Angle / Guerrero. Oh well. They have to stop with this "trading-the-title" back and forth bullshit. We've gone from Angle in December to Lesnar in March to Angle in July to Lesnar in September. You'd rather have Lesnar or Angle holding the WWE Championship for 11 months? Where does this "Eddie for the Title" business come from? I remember reading that rumor on Prowrestling.com (forgot who reported it) a few months back. The plan was to have Guerrero get a WWE title shot at Series, dunno if McMahon is still gona go through with it or not. Oh and didn't Brock/Taker headline No Mercy last year? With face Taker and heel Brock? Shows how much things have changed... Comes HIAC-less this time...
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2003 Eddie Guerrero is a double champion? He busted a Kanyon. By the way, so we know Angle / Lesnar took up the full hour. And for the other hour, we only got Guerreros / TWGTT?
