Well, from the sound of it, I would assume that that titles were hotshot onto the duo due to injury.

That doesn't mean that the split isn't coming, but I wouldn't base my hypothesis off the title victory.

EDIT: Were you talking about Los Guerrero's or World's Greatest Tag Team?

I don't see how anyone who watches SD week after week would read the spoilers.

WP-It's because the WWE can't be trusted to do the right thing. You know there's going to be stupid nonsense and personally I'd rather know the stupid nonsense ahead of time so I won't be supremely dissapointed in a couple of days time. May as well get it over with early. I also like to speculate and think about where the WWE is headed (how they're treating my favourites) so I always check out spoilers ahead of time. If I had any faith in the WWE product it might actually be a different story but I don't. I think the only week I ever managed to not read the complete spoilers was the Smackdown from Edmonton in 2001.

Great choice. ME was my MOTY for 2001. Fuck what WWE thinks.

Last time I bothered not checking spoilers. After that, I checked them (still do) over.

Although, really Downhome. It is because the WWE pulls stupid shit that anything that has spoilers gets attention.

It's quite simple.

Los Guerreros have no reason to tag with Eddie as US champion. So the first thing they do after Chavo's return is to have them win the titles so they can be together for a reason - just so they can break up, lose the titles when Chavo turns on Eddie thus giving the turn more meaning (in theory) and setting up a one-on-one US title match.

Was Angle's sister dying something expected?? That's awful news. I personally would love to see a Eddie v Chavo feud, they have 100% quality matches don't ya know? Question is which heel team are they the transistion belt holders for?? On the reading spoilers or not discussion, SD! doesn't air until Saturday night in Australia and I like to know ahead of time if I'm delaying my evening activities slightly in order to catch it if it's must-see stuff. This Saturday may well be one such instance.

It's too bad that Raw isn't taped. Then we could read the Raw spoilers and know what awful segments were coming. Plus, the WWE could edit out stuff like the dead mic on the last Raw.

Ok this always puzzles me.....How does Meltzer know it is scheduled to be a title switch?

WP-There'd be nothing to watch on Raw. Seriously. I wouldn't want the WWE to edit Raw though since those screwups are often the best parts.

If Raw was taped there would not be any reason to watch it ever again. Raw being live means at least something surprising could happen.

Considering I don't give a shit about Raw now, if they had spoilers I'd check, see "wow, another absolutely shitty show," and avoid it completely.

from the PWtorch.com

Brock Lesnar defeated Kurt Angle minutes ago at tonight's Smackdown tapings in Raleigh, N.C. They went the full 60 minutes despite Lesnar having suffered a knee injury (feared to be a serious ACL tear) over the weekend. Lesnar won five falls to four clean.

Also, Eddie & Chavo Guerrero beat Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas to capture the WWE Tag Team Titles. In the match, Benjamin suffered an ankle injury that appeared to be potentially serious. Haas was also appeared to have suffered a head injury, perhaps a concussion.

Are you sure this is acurate?

Let's run down the injury list for this week alone:

Hurricane

Lesnar

Haas

Benjamin

So, to complete the trifecta, who's getting injured at the ppv this sunday?

What I want to know is if it's a good match. Looks like between the injuries and Angle's sister there is a lot of bad news tonight.

Oh, and Eddie better face Brock at S Series.
