Guest ArchoanJB Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Tag Tables Match: Standard Dudley's match, had an okay start and a real sloppy ending - * Test vs. Steiner - Standard Test vs. Steiner match, about the same as Badd Blood - * Orton vs. HBK - I really enjoyed this match, Really fast paced and the people who say it's just an HBK match like all of his matches, so what it was still really good. - ***1/2 Womens Tag Match - Really nice put together womens match, one of their better matches, Lita's still really sloppy though - ** Shane vs. Kane - Slow match to start out, then started getting better and gaining crowd heat as the match went out. Still wasn't a good match, but at least entertaining for most of it - ** Triple Threat - I was eating and missed first 10 minutes of this match, RVD was really really really sloppy though, but last 8 minutes were pretty good so I'd prob. say it ends up at **3/4 or *** Annnouncers Match - terrible match, bad atmosphere, just a unproductive match - DUD Title Match: Was an OK match for these guys, not good, but got the job done. Finally HHH jobs though - *1/2 Overall it was a pretty good show, mountains better then Badd Blood, and also better overall then Summerslam.
Guest ManKinnd Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Holy crap with the negativity. I was really feeling this show: Richards/Maven - **1/2. Way better than it should've been. Both guys played their characters perfectly. Dudz/Resis - **. Started table match stuff. Test/Steiner - *1/2. Bland power stuff in the beginning, but then they hit some believable near falls and the booking to the end was logical and fun. HBK/Orton - ***1/4. Got a little stale once Orton got on offense, but this was solid throughout. Women's tag - 1/4* for the powerbomb Lita gave to Gail. Youch. Kane/Shane - ***1/2. Really fun spotfest. Nothing was blown and everything flowed really well. IC Title - ***3/4. Great energy in spite of a dead crowd and the spots were good the whole way. Jericho and RVD did a good job giving the meat of the match and Christian was there for spots and a good hot finish. Announcers - 1/4* for the piledriver. Yea. HHH/Goldberg - *. Slow and plodding but Helmsley's reign is finally over. Good show!
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Have you looked at the card? Have you seen each of the participants wrestle? Can you imagine what these matches would be like? How do you think it would be?

Styles 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 I ordered the webcast, it was an ok show. I didn't expect much going in and it pretty much delivered an average show. Dudleys vs. La Reistance: * Test vs. Steiner: ** Orton vs. HBK: ***1/4 Kim/Molly vs. Trish/Lita: 3/4* Shane vs. Kane: **1/2 Y2J vs. Christian vs. RVD: **1/2 JR/King vs. Coach/Snow: 1/2* HHH vs. Goldberg: **
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Why anyone would order an "avg" show or not expect much going in confuses me. I like to know that my money is going towards something that is worth it.
Jer 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Given the weak card, I didn't think it was that bad. I enjoyed watching it, but it might have just been good company at Hooters. It still was worse than an average episode of SD, but it wasn't disasterously bad.
Styles 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Why anyone would order an "avg" show or not expect much going in confuses me. I like to know that my money is going towards something that is worth it. Because Im a wrestling fan, that had nothing else to do and money he didn't mind spending. Whether anybody here will admit it or not, most of the people who didn't order the show were hitting refresh on their browsers every 2 minutes to read results/and or pleading for a pirated webcast link. I'd rather just watch the show, not having high expectations meaning at worst I get about what I expected, or at best a decent to good show. I thought it was ok. I enjoyed HBK/Orton, marked out for HHH's clean job to Goldberg and even had a little fun watching the announncer's match. If you didn't want to watch the show, or just not spend the money to watch the show, that's your right but don't criticize others who do.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Why can't I critise people who make stupid decisions? We criticise the WWE for doing it. RRR: Is a Wrestling Fan. That should probably explain why the PPV wasn't purchased.
Guest ManKinnd Report post Posted September 22, 2003 I have fun watching a wrestling show no matter what. If all else fails, I laugh at what JR says. I can ALWAYS find something in wrestling that entertains me.
Styles 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 It was not a stupid decision. I had money to spend, I enjoy watching wrestling and I enjoyed the show. How do you like that?
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 You know, you could have taken that money and spent it on say, wrestling tapes? That way you could be more entertained and actually have watched good wrestling. But then again, that probably wouldn't have had announcers wrestling second from the top, and lord knows THAT'S what wrestling is all about. Oh no, not a stupid decision at all. I see where you're coming from......But who the hell are you to say who's making a stupid decision and who's not. I don't think that's your call to make. You're entitled to your OPINION, but that's it. If someone wants to order the PPV and watch WWE tonight then so be it. It's not right to say it's a stupid decision....just say your opinion, but don't criticize
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Would you say jamming a fork into an electrical socket is a stupid decision? So yeah, ordering this PPV is a stupid decision.
Guest Dids Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Plus- when you buy the PPV you're telling the folks at the WWE that you think booking like this is a good idea. Don't accept crap- the WWE has the talent to be better than this- too bad it's all on Smackdown.
Bored 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Kids these days...why won't they learn to buy porn instead of shitty wrestling PPV's? Although I guess there could be that 20 years from now you could say you saw HHH do his last job.
Styles 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Exactly. With few exceptions I think MMA is boring as shit. Why? Because I said so! Oh you disagree? Well isn't that interesting. As I said, I have no doubt a good many of the people who are criticizing those who ordered the show are the same people who spent their time refreshing their screens for results and/or begging for a pirated webcast link. Just to clarify Im not trying to pick a fight here. I'm just defending myself and others from claims that we were stupid for ordering a show with our own money, and even god forbid enjoying it. Steviekick 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 It was not a stupid decision. I had money to spend, I enjoy watching wrestling and I enjoyed the show. How do you like that? True, but by ordering PPVs you are keeping revenue in the company so they can misuse wrestlers like Spanky and Tommy Dreamer but still make sure they can have a decent salary for doing something that they like. treble 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 I liked the show OK. I didn't think any of the matches were horrible, but nothing was great, either. I was entertained through most of it.
LooseCannon25 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Would you say jamming a fork into an electrical socket is a stupid decision? So yeah, ordering this PPV is a stupid decision. Jamming a fork in an electrical socket is potentially physically dangerous.......ordering a PPV does no harm.......great analogy buddy, try again. Besides would you say ordering a bad MMA (And i watch those too so don't say there arent bad UFC or PRIDE events) is a stupid decision, so in that case how would you like it if someone said it to you? RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 And well Gee Loose, who are you to say what I can say? Blah blah blah, opinion, blah blah blah, bitch, blah blah blah, stop making me cry, blah blah blah, you can't say that, blah blah blah, I'm telling mommy, blah blah blah go watch your puro crap, blah blah blah. RRR: Has sense, that's why I can say what's stupid. Anyone who ordered this horrible card clearly doesn't have any.
Styles 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 No I'm not crying I'm defending myself. Your the one crying. Looks like you can't accept the fact that others have differing opinions than you. People ordered the show, and enjoyed it. There's nothing you can do about it.
