Shane killed off Kane as monster heel. Had Kane been kept strong, he could have possibly drawn something with Goldberg. No chance now.

Thank God. :D

Neither Kane nor Shane (Hey, a rhyme! Coincidence?... I THINK NOT!) have any place in an athletic contest. SHane, because he can't actually wrestle, and Kane, because he has an incredibly boring style, AND he's not entertaining in the least. I can stand Shane, as long as he's jumping off something. Otherwise, he sucks my left nut. Which is not an entirely comfortable thought, so I'll stop there.

So, Kane has the "slow, boring style" as well? I think people are just stereotyping the hosses.

Well, it's a boring style because so many big wrestlers rely so much on power moves? Rodney Mack and Batista are both big guys who tried to get over while using power moves to squash jobbers while having a charismatic manager in their corner. They figured since it worked for Brock Lesnar, it would work for them too. The difference is that Brock can actually wrestle, so his matches were good... Batista and Rodney Mack have both been one dimensional since they debuted. This creates very boring matches that no one wants to see. I fast forwarded through Batista/Kane at Armeggedon because it was putting me to sleep.

Kane isn't slow, for a hoss. But his wrestling style bores me. You see, hosses, with a few exceptions, can suck on a variety of levels. Kane sucks because he does boring moves, and is the only wrestler in my 9 years of watching wrestling that has been so ugly, I don't like to watch his matches. I mean physically ugly. His appearance makes me want to retch, along with his style.

Anyway, as I said, there are a few exceptions to this rule. Brock Lesnar is one, because he has skill. ANd can carry The Big Show to watchable matches. And Undertaker.

And there are many decent hosses in Japan, along with the ones that are just downright good.

Well, the way I see it is that big men should use powermoves. Just like little men should use high flying moves (cruiserweights) and medium build men use a lot of submission work (think Bret Hart & Kurt Angle size).

That's just the way it's always been.

It worked with Brock because the WWE wasn't going to give up on him until he was accepted. He was shoved down our throats for months. Same with The Undertaker when he was new. Same with Hulk Hogan when he grabbed the WWF and threw them onto his back.

I know I don't want to see someone like Kane doing Hurricanranas. Just like I don't enjoy watching people like Rey Mysterio doing powerbombs/piledrivers, etc.

Kane is just your generic big guy. Slow & plodding, and uses the basic big guy moves - big boot, side slam, chokeslam. Couple that w/ the crappy top rope clothesline & weak punches, and you've got a guy that bores the hell out of me, too.

Obviously some of you people are forgetting that this is the same WWE that used to be the WWF. You know, with Hulk Hogan on top for years. With people like the Junkyard Dog & Hillbilly Jim as top attractions.

If you think that the wrestling is going to turn into nothing but 20-25 minute wrestling clinics, you're delusional.

The WWE will always have the big man and the big man will always have the WWE.

Kane's problem is he sells everything like shit. He can't take any move decently nor can he even do his tombstone correctly.

Let's see you jump from a height like that.

:firing:  Your Post

Get me a specially made air matress like the one Shane-O had and I'd do it in a heartbeat.

No shit, with shit like that even my grandmother would do it. ShaneO's sheeps out there want to see a real diving bump? Go check the one with New Jack and fat Vic Grimes jump from a scaffold onto the floor w/o any type of padding. Like it or not Shane is still a pussy that just killed any monster heat Kane had.
