Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted September 23, 2003 Unforgiven notes: Triple H, Lita, Zach HERSHEY, Pa. – Sept. 21, 2003 – Unforgiven was the first pay-per-view in Hershey since In Your House emanated from the Hersheypark Arena in December 1995. That night, Triple H defeated Henry O. Godwinn in an “Arkansas Hog Pen Match.” Continue... (interesting, pity Henry isn't around anymore to give HHH a annaversy (sp) Match) Dudley Boyz win ‘em again HERSHEY, Pa. – Sept. 21, 2003 – The most decorated tag team in sports-entertainment history just got even more decorated. The Dudley Boyz are now 17-time Tag Team Champions after defeating La Resistance and Rob Conway in a Handicap Tables Match to win the World Tag Team Championship. Continue... (Basically got to the point where no one cared about LALALALAAL Resistance and they wouldn't even defend or face anyone else other than the Dudleys) Orton beats HBK in ‘biggest match’ of career HERSHEY, Pa. – Sept. 21, 2003 – Randy Orton was 7 years old when Shawn Michaels first appeared in WWE. Sixteen years later, the third-generation Superstars, now called the “Legend Killer,” defeated the Heartbreak Kid at Unforgiven. It was Orton’s first-ever singles match on pay-per-view. Continue... (If the biggest night in his career is being a has been with a few good moves left in him then he should just quit while he's ahead...seriously, Randy Quit!) Goldberg finally feels at home WASHINGTON – Sept. 22, 2003 – You can see it in Bill Goldberg’s eyes, in his face and in his body language. You can see it in the way he behaves. Goldberg feels comfortable backstage, feels like he’s part of the team now. Continue... (Ohhh ONCE he gets the World title he feels Comfy backstage and is part of the team now.... Fuck Goldberg and everyone who speaks for Goldberg) (Thanks to WWE.com) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Thanks to Rick Grady for the following report: I just got back from the Smackdown house show at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, and I actually went away a happy fan! Crowd was around 2,500, which is about 1/3 capacity. Not too bad considering it's Monday night, Raw is on, and MNF is on too...lets go to the quick results: Matt Hardy and Shannon Moore defeated Spanky and Paul London - Paul London was impressive but was pinned by Hardy. Orlando Jordan defeated Nunzio via pinfall. The Basham Brothers defeated Jamie Noble and Ultimo Dragon - awesome to finally see Dragon wrestle. Chris Benoit defeated A-Train via the crossface - quick match. Triple Threat Heavyweight Title Match: Undertaker vs. Big Show vs. Champ Brock Lesnar - Brock pinned Show with the F5 to retain the title. Intermission Cruiserweight Title Match: Champ Rey Mysterio defeated Tajiri via pinfall - saw Mysterio for the first time too. Charlie Haas defeated A-Town's own Billy Kidman. Tiny Teddy Contest: Funaki and WZZO radio guy are the MC's - Torrie defeated Sable. Tag Team Title Match: Los Guererros defeated John Cena and Rhyno to retain the titles. Biggest Pops: 1) Billy Kidman - from Allentown and a WXW product 2) Chris Benoit 3) The Undertaker 4) Rey Mysterio 5) Matt Hardy??? Biggest Heat: 1) Brock Lesnar "You Tapped Out" 2) John Cena "Eagles Suck" 3) Big Show 4) A-Train "Shave Your Back" 5) Charlie Haas Very good house show! Was very happy...probably the best house show I've seen in 5 years. Only negative was no Kurt Angle. Paul London was very well received. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ As you probably would have guessed, the spot where Shane McMahon jumped off the top of the Unforgiven set was heavily gimmicked. The floor was comprised of material used to filled with padding, breaking his fall. He was seen practicing the spot a few times prior to the show. (Oh and Here I thought the Magical Tough as Nails Shane o Mac took the fall into a Big Metal Platform with Pointy things to Impale him with. Doy!) Kane will most likely be the first to challenge Goldberg for his newly won World Heavyweight Championship. (What better way to kill off the Monster push by making the Bosses Son beat him up most of the match then set him up for a Instoe Squash to Goldy) WWE will be teasing a return to the ring for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in order to get revenge on Chris Jericho for costing Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler their announcing jobs. Although not confirmed, Austin may very well take on Jericho in some way so Ross and Lawler are able to return to the RAW announce booth. (Though I still see Coaches point of view he is suppose to be the heel but he was treated like shit, first by Lawler with his bullshit questions and accusing him that he didn't want JR back. TO SCSA just stunning him on whims) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Triple H is currently putting the finishing touches on his bodybuilding book, which he has been working on for almost two years. The book is slated for a December release. ( uh how to uh Bulk up with 8 simple pills each day) Although this could change, most in the company are under the impression that Brock Lesnar will be defending the WWE Championship against The Undertaker at No Mercy. (Well good Taker gets to job again for the blood thirsty Taker haters so Brock can remain champ till Angle is again recycled up to the top rank. SD has one big problem, its lack of Main eventers and refusal to raise anyone else up. Taker, Angle, Brock, Big Show thats it....blah) WWE recently reached an out-of-court settlement with Darren Drosdov (although no lawsuit was filed) regarding injuries he suffered in a match with D-Lo Brown that left him paralyzed. Droz and his wife Julie are still employed by WWE. (So they gave Droz the Monsoon Lifetime employment opportunity. I bet they are settling with him now so they can fire him without a law suit. seem like that incident was in 99, and maybe he did get over it.. but better safe than sorry and Sued) New WWE announcer, who is simply known as "Rue" (real name: Ruthanna DeBona), is a former actress and model who has appeared on shows such as "The Sopranos" and "Spin City". (Since I never get those dinky mini WWE shows that she would be on.. I don't have a interest in someone I don't see.) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CAUTION MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS TURN BACK NOW AHHHHHH!!! now thats over.. lets move on Thanks to Patrick Andrew for the following: Dark Matches/Heat Tapings: (1) Travis Bane defeated Joey Matthews. Matthews got a nice pop, as his hometown was announced as Fairfax County, Virginia. Bane looks like Batista. Short match. (2) Scott Steiner defeated Crowbar with his downward spiral finisher. Total squash with lots of pushups by Steiner. Crowbar deserves better. (3) Rodney Mack defeated a jobber. Mack seems to be improving and showed a lot of fire, especially during his entrance. (4) Val Venis defeated Stevie Richards after a full-nelson slam. (5) Rico defeated a jobber. I was unsure of his name, but he looked similar to Jeff Hardy. Horrible match the crowd was dying for Raw to start. Raw Notes: The live crowd treated the Shane-Kane skit as a complete joke, laughing all the way through. It reminded me of the Austin-McMahon hospital skit from 1998. This is not how you build up your monster heel. After their match, Lita and Trish ran around and celebrated with the soldiers during the commercial break. Lita seemed so happy to be back. She and Trish looked like they were having a blast. After Raw went off the air, Goldberg walked down the aisle, posing with the belt, while Jericho continued to sell the effects of the spear/jackhammer. After Goldberg left, Jericho made his way up rampway with the mic. He ran down DC for being amoral and filled corrupt politicians. He vowed to return to a place with integrity. "I'm going home to Canada!" he said, and walked through the curtains, ending the show. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2003 Biggest Pops: 1) Billy Kidman - from Allentown and a WXW product Well, Kidman deserves ONE good pop, anyway. Triple H is currently putting the finishing touches on his bodybuilding book, which he has been working on for almost two years. The book is slated for a December release. ( uh how to uh Bulk up with 8 simple pills each day) Oh come on. I know he's put on probably 50 lbs of steroid muscle, but you guys act like he never goes to the gym once. You can't maintain that look just repeatedly shooting up. (2) Scott Steiner defeated Crowbar with his downward spiral finisher. Total squash with lots of pushups by Steiner. Crowbar deserves better. What the hell is HE doing here? (5) Rico defeated a jobber. I was unsure of his name, but he looked similar to Jeff Hardy. Horrible match the crowd was dying for Raw to start. Make your own jokes, folks.
Crimson Platypus 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2003 Oh come on. I know he's put on probably 50 lbs of steroid muscle, but you guys act like he never goes to the gym once. You can't maintain that look just repeatedly shooting up. True, but taking advice about weightlifting from a person who uses steroids is not really the best plan. (unless you are planning on using roids yourself) I just don't understand how he can be taken seriously on this.
Matt Young 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2003 You still have to work out hard when you're on steroids. They simply help you achieve bigger gains in a shorter period of time.

I was worried they had gotten a clue for a sec.

haVoc 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2003 (SD has one big problem, its lack of Main eventers and refusal to raise anyone else up. Taker, Angle, Brock, Big Show thats it....blah) I wouldn't call that a "big" problem. At least they have a few credible guys in the main event scene and they have upper mid-carders who are ready to be pushed up. Raw has no one with credibility. I think they should build up Austin and Jericho for a few more months and build to a big blowoff match as Austin's ring return. They're segments are generally entertaining (even though jericho comes across as a chump most of the time) and could do a great build up. It's been long enough from their last match way back in early 2002, that it would seem pretty fresh.
