The Simpsons, gay sex, Futurama...

I wish they could just let them grow up because by keeping Bart at age 10 is preventing the GREAT stuff they could do with bart at 16...

I personally enjoy both incarnations of the Simpsons. I loved the Emmy winning golden era Simpsons and I like the wacky adventures era Simpsons.

Some people get too caught up in "but it's not as great as it use to be" stuff.

If they use a Flander it'll be Rod and/or Tod.

Ned struggling with having a gay son...there that would silence the "but they don't handle issues anymore, it's all wacky adventures" crowd.

Well for a week

I can dig that but again the whole Rod is only what 12? thing would be too weird as why would a twelve year old be having those issues?

That's something I can't stand out of 22 episodes...17 are whacky and 3 are serious stuff like Lisa with religion or something..

Only to Choken One does 17 + 3 = 22

the other two are the Halloween special and I don't count that...and it seems there is a clip show or flashback show once a year as well making it 17 Whacky, 3 serious and 2 Misc.

My vote for the gay sex is for the Treehouse of Horror episode with Kang and Kodos.

that would be..wierd.

Kodos is Kang's sister.

really..color me stupid.

All I could think of is two..

nevermind.

I still think it should happen in the halloween episode though.

Halloween would be a good episode to use the Futurama characters without making it a cross over show.

Homer could be dressed as Bender

In that Halloween episode they could use the What If machine to cross over!

What if Fry made a delivery to Arlen, Texas to Hank Hill or what if Fry made a delivery to Springfield!

They could incorporate Fry rather easily.

All they have to do is have him be pre-frozen, living his college years in Springfield.

But right now it is the year 2003, and odds are high that the Simpsons will feature at least some references to our current time period, and Fry was frozen before 2000 even started, plus he lived in New York.

OMG CONTINUITY ERROR~!

Moe was the first name that came to mine as for who they might turn gay.

And I also still enjoy the show. Sure, it's not what it once was, but I still believe that it's funnier than EVERY sitcom currently in production today.

The Simpsons nutty professor could be Fry's relative.

It would be better if he's a relative of the Professor on Futurama.

They'd have more in common

Maybe they will kill off the Simpsons and have the entire cast of Futurama move to Springfield...

I other worlds, I hate the Simpsons.

I liked the earlier episodes, and I get an ocassional kick out of a new episode, but they have been phoning it in over the past couple of years.

Oh, and Homer will probably be gay. Not because it makes sense, but because everything on the show focuses on Homer.

The shows still fun but for awhile it was in that rarely seen zone of "Cartoon that still manages to be a cartoon while also being more real than any sitcom" King Of The Hill is in said zone from time to time too.
