Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2003 I think Jamison may take a nice dive in PPG & RPG since he'll have to battle with Nowitzki, Nash, Finley, Walker, Delk, Najera, etc. for not only just playing time but the ball as well Everyone on that TEAM will take a dive. There is just too many people that want the ball.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2003 The Mavs are on pace to make 120 points per game or they could implode with all of the infighting that will happen. I can't believe that there are rumors about trading Finley!

Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2003 I also wouldn't be surprised if the Mavs gave up an average of 125 points to their opponents. Seriously, the Mavs still haven't a clue on how to play D and the Twans squared aren't known as defensive gems either.
Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2003 Anyone with Finley, Jamison, and Walker have to be pissed because they are going to lose minutes and stats to each other. I'm not saying they will be totally worthless, but their value does change since people were under the impression that these guys were going to come with x-amount of stats. Nowinzki and Nash's numbers won't really take too much of a hit because Dirk is the #1 guy on the team and Nash runs the point and can get touches when he feels like it. Uh, I got Jamison and you better believe I'm pissed. And what's the point of the trade? Seriously, it's just AWFUL. I don't care about either team, but it's still not that great of a trade. razazteca 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2003 Your not familiar with Don Nelson are you? When his favorite center type is a skinny 7 footer, you know the man aint right in the head. Nellie is also a mark for small line ups and will play 4 guards if he can win with it.
EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2003 Well, I have Raef LaFrentz, so its good for him. Of course, injuries may negate that.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2003 Injuries and foul trouble. Raef is a good player to have as a backup and has a good up side but has been an underachiever most of his career.

the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2003 I am not really interested in any of the Mavericks right now. I need to see how they spread all of the minutes/shots out. Sorry I didn't reply to your pm, I had it up and got into something else and forgot about it.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2003 That's cool. I think Finley should still be the No. 2 option on offense. His assists could possibly go up as well, even if his points do go down, which is really the only thing I think WILL go down. Maybe rebounds. I guess we'll just have to wait and see though. Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted October 25, 2003 Bender's a turd anyway. I don't particularly care if we have turnovers or not. And really, other than Webber, my guys will only miss the first few games.
