HarleyQuinn Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 I'll be bringing a laptop on the trip so it looks like I'll be able to update things in PA, whoo!
razazteca Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 So its Mr J and Mindless Agression next.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 6, 2003 Author Report Posted October 6, 2003 I've already got the roadmap to victory planned out for my next two picks. Hopefully no one will steal my picks.
razazteca Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Expect to make an exit at potential and a left turn at false hope.
Dangerous A Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Alkeiper took a chance taking Malone this early. The only way that pick pans out is if Kobe gets convicted or one of the other superstars (Payton, Shaq) gets siginificantly injured. Of the Hall of Fame 4, I'd say Malone would take the biggest hit in numbers. However he is a safer pick for a PF, considering a lot of the PF's are going to be drafted on potential. (Stoudamire, Randolph)
the pinjockey Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Yeah but we aren't drafting 1 PF/1 SF, we are just drafting two forwards. Although I really don't agree with that it is too late to change now.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 6, 2003 Author Report Posted October 6, 2003 I honestly dont think anyones going to take my 2 picks. Im probably going to draft them a bit high because I dont think they'll be around again when I draft in the later rounds, but I want the 2 specific players.
razazteca Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Don Nelson is my mentor as I shall go with 2 PG, SG, SF, PF, FC as my starting line up.
Sandman9000 Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Mr. J has given me the authority to make his pick for him. Whatever Mr. J is calling his team selects Eric Montross.
Guest Just J Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 ^Bullshit! Since nobody else wants him, give me SHAQ DADDY!
the pinjockey Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Good lord, we couldn't even make it two rounds. Give him Montross as punishment
razazteca Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Just give Mr. J, Mr. BRING IT DOWN Luke Walton.
the pinjockey Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Of course he left right after picking.
razazteca Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 was the Laker mark serious, Shaq was the #4 pick in round 1. I am sure Mr J really wants to select a La La Land star to bad it has to be a Clipper.
Guest Just J Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Sorry, I just skimmed over it quickly to try to appease the masses. Give me Steve Nash-Sac.
the pinjockey Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 up- Mindless Agression on deck - Will Scarlet
Guest Just J Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 You mean Nash of Dallas? You get the point. I have been pretty busy today so there were some distractions. This is why I wanted a live draft. It's easier for me to set aside a couple of hours if I know in advance then to have to be on here every couple of hours for days. Sorry, but I will be slow at times. I will try to be as quick as possible.
razazteca Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Damn the Mavs I wanted are all drafted!

(Stoudamire, Randolph) I figure Malone is a safe pick for forward. There were a few better guards on the table, but I figure a guard or two will still be around in round 3.

At the rate that guards are being selected, I'm sure there's a chance that whomever someone chooses will still be there. Amazingly, the person I'm drafting with my 13th pick this round is still available. I'm quite sure that he's definitely underrated as his stats are pretty good. Then again, maybe I'm just reading things people aren't.
alfdogg Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Man, this sucks being next to the end of a round. My guy is still available though.
razazteca Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 I am not sure if my Top 5 will still be available in round 3.
Lightning Flik Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 I am not sure if my Top 5 will still be available in round 3. I don't think anyone's is at this point... My fifth round pick is not going to be a nice one for me. As it's a gamble.
razazteca Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 up- Mindless Agression on deck - Will Scarlet Hopefully round 2 can finish tonight.
Der Kommissar Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 I am just waiting for Mindless Aggression. I already know who I am taking. I have two guys in mind so it will be one or the other.

Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 I think a lot of us are hoping for the same 3 guys next round. as long as I get one of them I'm good.
Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 Hey, i think it's my turn, I should probably pick someone. Team Failure~! Selects PF Amare Stoudemire.
