HarleyQuinn Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 (edited) Man...my roster's pretty solid tonight so here's hoping they do pretty damn well. I may offer a trade so I'll probably post the offer here with Pros/Cons ala my trade with Flik. Looks like Yahoo deleted my account for whatever reason. So as of now I can't make any roster moves or edit my lineup on a daily basis:( I did create a new Yahoo name but fuck Yahoo up it's ass for deleting my name with no reason given to me either. EVIL~! alkeiper Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 Looks like I might just win the points battle in my matchup.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 hey PJ Brown is a very underated scorer. I hope some of these guys come back soon, I'm fast becoming the Nuggets.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 Not your fault. How often do you have 3 players drop 30+ in two days?
razazteca Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 Had a good night with Sam Cassell and Paul Pierce having 14 and 10 assist a piece.
Guest Just J Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 I had a pretty good night, so far. Sprewell, Vlade, Cliff, and Lebron had good nights. Nash was having a good night until he hurt his shoulder.
Lightning Flik Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 Cavs vs Nuggets Lebron vs Melo Meh... It wasn't a bad game. From what little of it I saw.
razazteca Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 The game did not live up to the hype. This just in Lebron is not the next Jordan, but he could be the next Marion or Kidd.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 7, 2003 Author Report Posted November 7, 2003 Im up 6-2, and the good news is Baron Davis rules!
Lightning Flik Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 7-1 over the Crimson Storm so far. And this is a suprise why? I've got a Toronto Raptors that's doing me NOTHING. ...shit, why does anyone pick up Raptors' players?
razazteca Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Only have my Spurs playing so I should get some FT and Rebounds.
Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 I'm still trying to figure out why it isn't counting the people on my bench's stats. Kukoc went nuts last night and it counted nothing. Oy.
the pinjockey Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Because if they aren't in the starting lineup they don't count.
razazteca Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 The players must be in the starting lineup for that day in order to be counted. I change my lineup every day.
alfdogg Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Funny, whenever I looked at my matchups, it was counting everyone's stats.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 that's because people get rotated in and out of the lineup all week.
alfdogg Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 FUCKING HELL. That's it. Eddy Curry is officially on the trading block.
Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 I have Eddie Jones and Toni Kukoc up on Saturday and thats it. Yes, the black magic attempts to get Toni to drop 50 have begun. Eddy Curry will ge better as the season goes, he's the Greg Valentine of basketball, needs at least 15 minutes (well in this case, 15 games) to get warmed up.
Cuban Linx Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 I remain down 6-2, though pretty much every category is close enough to go either way. I have 9 players left to play this week to Marvin's 7, so hopefully that can give me enough to come back and win as many categories as possible.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 8, 2003 Author Report Posted November 8, 2003 Baron Davis rules! Im reminded of the commercial for the then Charlotte Hornets, where Ric Flair tells Baron to go WHOOOOOOOOOOO! when he dunks even though hes not tall enough to dunk. Old story about it Anyway, at 6-2, its close and it could swing just about any way over the last days of Week 2.
Lightning Flik Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 Snow is now on the trading block.
razazteca Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 Why are you giving up the #6 assist leader in the NBA? Just look for good bench players.
Lightning Flik Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 Why are you giving up the #6 assist leader in the NBA? Just look for good bench players. Um... Dummy, I'm saying he's on the block. I didn't say "Oh, I'll trade him for the lowest player out there." Shit... It's bait offer. You know, see what I'll get in return for offers?
Lightning Flik Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 Too bad Ray Allen is injuried. No kidding... Hm.. I own quite a few Denver players...
Lightning Flik Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 I got the best Nugget Meh... So long as they play good, I'm happy with that.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 9, 2003 Author Report Posted November 9, 2003 I did some math, Im still up 6-2. Derek Anderson finally went on the IL, so I was able to pick up Jason Collins who might be a permanent replacement for Lorenzen Wright as my backup C. Im obviously lackluster at that position since the only 2 stat categories Im losing in are Rebounds (-5) and Blocks (-9). Wright could be on the block if someone wants him.
Guest Just J Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 My team has been doing great this week. I will probably win 7-1, maybe 8-0. Not bad for a bunch of people nobody else wanted.
