Kaertos Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 Congrats to all ofthe winners, particuarly Dace. Well done. I'll follow up with more detailed comments after the card is up, but I just wanted to say this is a good show with a couple of glaring exceptions. Those exceptions, however, have been noted... Again though, overall it was a blow-away show. I expected nothing less for the first real show after Genesis. Way to go guys.
Dace59 Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 *Reads his victory ... rubs eyes and looks at coffee* I'm reading things that aren't there.. In other words... w00t. Actual comments when I've been up for more than 20mins and don't have to dash out to school shortly.
Thoth Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 Crowe is high somewhere. BCW got owned... but WE'LL be back. Poor Kibs. Such a dream you had in your eye... but work got ya. X AND EREK TAYLOR WROTE OMGOMGOMGOGM
Guest Xstasy Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 Fun show. I just want to say as well that I am really enjoying the Erek v. Strangler dynamic. This has all the makings of a classic feud. Congrats to everyone, and its good to be back. I missed all of this.
Guest Fire and Knives Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 I skimmed the show; looks good so far. God-DAMN @ taking three Defenestrations. Nice match from Dace, Taylor and X wrote OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG, Double Sinquiz-Jeopardy wins, and I'll make more comments when I'm not pissed off. Cheers. K.
Chuck Woolery Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 I echo Dace here. Good show from what I've seen, we won so w00t, X won so markout, and Dace/Flesher should be awesome. Erek's all over the place and getting the mad rub, so after the Strangler feud is over I've got him pegged as the guy who dethrones Flesher. And that's all she wrote for now.
Guest Suicide King Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 ! no-showers make baby Jesus cry.
Guest Goodear Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 And no one cares that Justice and Rule are back ... and putting Wildchild through a flaming table? Well I know two people that should care ... coughtagchampsonborrowedtimecough.
Guest Suicide King Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 a valid point! Justice and Rule are back, the Bemani Cross Wizards are revving up, and let us not forget that the Unholy Trinity separately beat Silent, Bastion, and Craven! I may book some utter tag craziness on my next card, since I know for a fact mark has plans for this card.
Dace59 Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 Multi Team Tag Matches make Pyschology lovers cry!
Guest Evolution Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 a valid point! Well, at least I "defended" the tag titles once, even though it was a non-title match.
TheBostonStrangler Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 OK. Skimmed the show, and I enjoyed it. The double no-shows aren't cool, but hopefully that's not an indication of any major problems. Coolest thing (besides the TBS/Erek stuff, which is easily the coolest thing of all time in recorded history, with the possible exception of the Declaration of Independence): Justice and Rule are BACK! A flaming table is very uncharacteristic of those two, which is actually kind of cool. Let's see what happens with all this tag team turmoil going on. We got Sin-Quization and Justice and Rule and Crow and Crane and the Trinity and the Benami Cross Wizards....tag team craziness is RUNNING WILD!
Guest Suicide King Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 psychology, schmychology. I smell an 8 man tornado tag inferno cage match!
TheBostonStrangler Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 *drags TNT back into the fed* Make it a 10 man!
Guest Suicide King Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 heady with the power of over-booked goodness, I am.
WrestlingDeacon Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 *drags TNT back into the fed* Make it a 10 man! Fuck that noise. I'll come back and Frost will take on all ten of you at the same time!
Guest Goodear Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 (edited) The people demand a scramble match... The people meaning me... A SIX MAN TAG SCRAMBLE MATCH!!! The Unholy Trinity vs. John Duran and Double Jeopardy vs. Wildchild and Justice & Rule vs. The Cross Wizards & Kibagami vs. TBS & TNT & Xstacy vs. Dante Crane & Crow & Janus vs. Frost ... who would normally need no stinking partner to beat up two other guys but since we're talking about three... Edwin MacPhisto Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 ::uncrunches neck:: ::grabs Raynor:: SCRAMBLLLLE! In real things: super cool show. The active reunion of Justice and Rule as a tag team is great and a really good place for both guys to go right now - Ejiro is still rocking and riding as US champ after Genesis, but Judge could use a little rebound after his world title contendership. These characters are to the point where they're flexible enough to stay strong in singles but still be awesome in tags. I approve. Also, I can't give big enough praise to Dace for a huge win. Two weeks, two first-time World title challengers? Looks good to me.
Dace59 Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 Right, given the show a good read through now. WC vs JnR had much ass kicking. Mainly as it's JnR back again, and the flaming table spot. They haven't lost a single step at all. The BCW vs SQ was fun. Nice pace. I don't really remember the BCW from back when I was in the JL, but I'm remebering I like the team. Erek and X's promos gave me interest about two guys I really no nothing about. X smelled like the Rock to me, but it worked very well, and I gather it's his character. Cool match, nice ending spot too. I know Card had a great time writing his match, I had a blast reading it. I love the intro to it and I can see all this favourate spots his breaking out. (Y) @ Maori Dropping steel objects onto people! How I won, I don't know. I'm just glad I did. Tom and Strangler plays really well on both their characters and Eerk vs Strangler that's building. Shows me once more what I'm up against as well. All in all, kick ass stuff.
Hank Kingsley Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 Go go go Sinquizition! You guys are awesome! and go Dace F'n Night~!
Guest Evolution Posted October 10, 2003 Report Posted October 10, 2003 It's Sinquizition. Just wanted to make that perfectly clear. No hyphen. It's the word inquisition, only Sinquizition.
Guest Xstasy Posted October 10, 2003 Report Posted October 10, 2003 Do I smell like the freshly showered, 500 dollar shirt wearing, red carpet Rock, or the sweaty, ten finisher taking, just got done an iron man match Rock? I'd prefer the former.
Dace59 Posted October 10, 2003 Report Posted October 10, 2003 The former one, the high of being a super face Rock, don't worry.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted October 10, 2003 Report Posted October 10, 2003 Ah, just like the good ol' days. Talking about the scent... of X.
