Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted October 12, 2003 Why don't you actually try to contribute something to this forum other than "fuck Jeff Jarrett". You won't even respond to the fact that they have a picture of Raven with the belt too b/c it totally detracts from what your trying to say so you'll just continue to ignore it. You won't even respond to the fact that they have a picture of Raven with the belt too b/c it totally detracts from what your trying to say so you'll just continue to ignore it. Because there is absolutely nothing postive to say about the running of this promotion. If you can give me one thing that contradicts the ideas that -Raven is being horribly misused -Styles is being buried -The current incarnation of the X-Division is a joke -Dutch Mantells horrible Memphis influenced booking will bore me to tears I'll change the sig
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted October 12, 2003 See your doing exactly what I said you'd do. Your against a picture of Jarrett b/c he's not currently champ. But you have absolutely no problem with a picture of someone who was never champ holding the belt on the same page. Stop being such a hypocrite.
Guest Dave O'Neill, Journalist Report post Posted October 12, 2003 Have we got past the writing under the damn picture Mad Dog Or do we just see it and go "Man, thats not JJJ with his worldtitle, it must be removed"

Raven is the #1 face in the company, has been involved in the longest running and most popular feud, gets more airtime then almost anyone else and is looked at like a God on TNA Television. -Dutch Mantells horrible Memphis influenced booking will bore me to tears Memphis style booking makes money, draws heat and gets people over

bob_barron 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2003 He got kicked off the booking committee Raven books his own stuff- It's quite obvious that this is Raven's doing since it mirrors other feuds he's been apart of. The feud is with a fucking manager, so Raven can work with "flaky people", like Vampiro and Sabu (who's next in line for Scott, apparantly) Congratulations on figuring that out. The feud is with one of the most over promomen in the business and the fact that he keeps throwing everything to get at Raven. Remember Bobby Heenan and Paul E. Dangerously? It was the same thing. Memphis style draws money, etc, etc Jerry Lawler and Jerry Jarrett are very wealthy men because of it.
Guest Dave O'Neill, Journalist Report post Posted October 12, 2003 Yes but the point is, Jeff and Daddy know he's hideous in the ring, and unreliable anyway, and go; That was a horrible match! syxx2001 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2003 Theres a difference between booking your own stuff and writing the show. Raven doesn't sit at home, write what he wants and hands it in. He throws out his ideas and runs with it. See, there you go contridicting yourself. You say if Raven was writing his own stuff, he would have the belt, but when Jeff has the belt, they only shit to come from your mouth is "OH NO. DADDY AND SON CANT LOOK LIKE DICKHEADS. THEY MUST HAVE THE BELT AND LOOK COOL." And maybe Raven would actually prefer doing something besides reworking a fued already done in two other companies. Guest JacK Report post Posted October 13, 2003 God damn shut up about Jeff Jarrett and stop whinging! Create a Jeff Jarrett Bitching thread and bitch there if you have to, rather then EVERYWHERE! Dude, give it a rest. Getting back to the DVD's, I hope they bring them to Australia for retail, otherwise it's going to be an expensive exercise to import them. Very expensive indeed. Same goes for the videogame (if it evaaa gets of the ground).

Too bad Banks isn't sure as to who will carry them yet. -=Mike --- who hopes it is Best Buy as they are about as cheap as anybody

You know, i think that if Raven was booking his own stuff, He'd probably have the World Title and CM Punk wouldnt be his fucking cheerleader If Raven did that, would it make him any better than Jarrett since he's giving himself the world title? And since he's the #1 face he has no need to have the world title, that makes TNA stronger. With the DVD's, if the matches are uncut like announced, will that affect the quality? Guest The Decadent Slacker Report post Posted October 13, 2003 Wow, good thing this isn't a legit sport, or the world might cave in & destroy us all. Seriously, if you don't like Jarrett, why pay $10 to watch shows put on by his fucking company? Especially when bitching about how everyone is either buried alive or hideously mishandled? Just wait, Hogan wins the belt from him, then the bitching continues. I don't like Jarrett. I think he's one of the more overrated guys of the past 10 years on a national level. But for all my complaints he's the only thing we have remotely close to a major alternative. I envy people who have access to nonstop indies or get MLW, but all i've got is WWE & TNA. They both can piss me off to no end, but it's not like there's much new wrestling in my area. Point is, live with it. There will NEVER be a 100% perfect federation, free of politics & chock full of always awesome angles. Deal with it. Back to the DVDs, 2 out of 3 ain't bad. I'd only get the Championsip one for the XXX stuff, & the X Title is a must have. I liked all the matches on there that i've seen, & being a Kash mark, it's all good. TNABaddboi 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2003 Well maybe we'll get lucky and he'll only have it for a few months before losing it to Raven. My thoughts exactly....I really think whole thing will build up Jarrett/Raven II where babyface Raven overcomes everything to get FINALLY fulfill his destiny. Think about it....after Raven lost to Styles, he said he'd get to Mitchell and then get back onto destiny...well if he finally gets to Mitchell at Bound for Glory and Jarrett defeats Styles and Hogan, that's the most logically option...have Raven trying to gain a shot, Russo and Jarrett trying to keep it from him, he gets it and wins at big show #2 to the cheers of everyone who's been waiting for that win since April, kinda like how WWE held off on putting the title on Austin the first time and waited until Mania XIV instead of XIII. The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2003 That's pretty much what I was thinking when Raven lost to Styles. I think the only person Raven should win the title from IS Jarrett...and Jarrett had to be a heel for that to happen. Well...Jarrett will be a heel in 9 days...and after the Hogan/Jarrett thing is done, Raven will be done with Mitchell and his army. It's the logical end to Raven's destiny. Years of ECW will do that to you. Plus he hates Shawn Micheal's guts, its hard not to have a soft spot for him. Jeff Jarrett has in-ring talent? But he's daddy's boy and he can half-ass to the end of the earth and daddy won't fire him. [/1inch punch mode off] Uh...exactly It's the logical end to Raven's destiny.
