CanadianChick Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 OlympicHeroRVD, I'm obviously going by the report says. I'm assuming that it is truthful and not skewed to make Shane look good and Test look bad. It could very well be, but my arguement is based on the report. And Franchise, usually, people can't adjust in midair. So if RVD is like everyone else, he too couldn't adjust his whole body to land in a new position to avoid a misplaced foot in midair.
Damaramu Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 Why couldn't he adjust in mid air. He turns doing the 5-star all the time. I don't see why he could spin his body over to the side while doing the Van-Terminator. I mean he adjusts the chair and his legs while he flies.

I may be wrong, but I think there's more time to adjust for the 5* frogsplash. He purposly gets hangtime in the splash, and gives himself more time to adjust. In the VanTerminator, it's just point A to point B. Did that make sense?

I don't see why he could spin his body over to the side while doing the Van-Terminator. I mean he adjusts the chair and his legs while he flies. He also sets up the splash ready to turn. It's much more difficult to completely alter your course in mid air without warning.
TheFranchise Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 Shall we agree to disagree? And dont say 'i don't agree to that' as it's a dated simpsons line

Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 so Test, who was completly prone in the corner, put himself in serious danger by carelessly moving his foot? The guy flying across the ring at 100 miles an hour who doesn't know how to wrestler clearly had nothing to do with it then.
Vyce Posted October 14, 2003 Report Posted October 14, 2003 I'm sure many will disagree, but after seeing the footage...... ......I still think it's Shane's fault. Test would have had to place his legs REALLY far apart to avoid having Shane's fat ass land on them.
dubq Posted October 14, 2003 Report Posted October 14, 2003 Karma bites Test in the ass for faking that foot injury months ago vs Steiner. That was a knee "injury"..
Lil' Bitch Posted October 14, 2003 Report Posted October 14, 2003 I'm sure many will disagree, but after seeing the FOOTage...... ......I still think it's Shane's fault.
jester Posted October 14, 2003 Report Posted October 14, 2003 I have to pin this one on Test. From what I saw of the footage Test closed his legs just as Shane was about to hit him. He was probably bracing for the hit, and not thinking pulled his limbs in close, where Shane fell on his foot. I want Shane McMahon tortured, killed, and served as dinner for hungry indie workers as much as the next guy, but the footage looked like it was more Test's fault.
