Red Baron Posted October 14, 2003 Report Posted October 14, 2003 Recently you've seen ads about Wendy's new Chicken Strips. Currently working at Wendy's and seeing it is a good sellar, it is pretty damn good, especially witht the Chipolte Sauce. So if you have tried them, what do u think about it.
Guest Choken One Posted October 14, 2003 Report Posted October 14, 2003 decent but pricey for three strips.
razazteca Posted October 15, 2003 Report Posted October 15, 2003 Tried it but the moron who worked there forgot to give me the deli mustard. If I'm going to pay close to $5 for chicken strips I rather go to Arbys or KFC.
Guest Choken One Posted October 15, 2003 Report Posted October 15, 2003 5 bucks? it's 3.99...how much is tax for you? It should be 2.99 instead...
treble Posted October 15, 2003 Report Posted October 15, 2003 I can't bring myself to buy anything but burgers at Wendy's.
ISportsFan Posted October 15, 2003 Report Posted October 15, 2003 So you're telling me it's $3.99 for 3 chicken strips? I can get a better price at a sitdown restaurant. Jason
Guest El Satanico Posted October 15, 2003 Report Posted October 15, 2003 So you're telling me it's $3.99 for 3 chicken strips? I can get a better price at a sitdown restaurant. No you can't, unless it's some low priced mom and pops joint.
Guest El Satanico Posted October 15, 2003 Report Posted October 15, 2003 Also what's the deal with Wendy's and McDonald's releasing Chicken Strips at the same time?
Guest Choken One Posted October 15, 2003 Report Posted October 15, 2003 You can get like 8 strips for 4.99 at a O Charlys or something
The Metal Maniac Posted October 16, 2003 Report Posted October 16, 2003 I had them. Not a big fan - I think I'll stick with the Spicy Chicken Combos... In fact, the only reason I bought them was because the Spicy chicken is so good, I figured that this was chicken from Wendy's, so it was worth a test. And for the record...in Canada...$7.45 with the Biggie Size combo, tax included.
Sandman9000 Posted October 16, 2003 Report Posted October 16, 2003 You can get like 8 strips for 4.99 at a O Charlys or something Meh. Those sucked. Real grissley, if grissley is even a word. And if it wasn't, it is now.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 16, 2003 Report Posted October 16, 2003 Id rather make my own chicken strips. The secret is to use Chicken Breast Tenderloins. flour/Eggwash/Breadcrumbs..deep fry til golden and crispy..
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 16, 2003 Report Posted October 16, 2003 I had em. I dig em. Too expensive for too little though. Throw in 2 more and you got yourself a regular customer.

Or substitute flour for breadcrumbs (for anyone who might actually feel inclined to make their own chicken strips). Season the flour a little with some salt and pepper if desired.
