Mole 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2003 How the fuck is season 7 LAST? Because I found it too slow, repetitive, didn't have any stand-out episodes, and I felt the overall story-arc was too weak. WHAT?? No stand out episodes? "Lessons," "Same Time, Same Place," "Selfless," "Conversations with Dead People," "Sleeper," "Showtime," "Get It Done," "Dirty Girls," and best of all "Chosen." Those are just off the top of my head. Season 7 doesn't get that much love from me because 5, 3, and 6 I just like better. Superstar, best sig I have seen in a long time. I won't even except any argument that any season flowed better than 7, something that became startlingly clear when I couldn't stop watching episode after episode after episode when I got my VCDs. BorneAgain 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2003 My thoughts on the final season Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Season 7 I liked because of its continuity and because the last 10 episodes or so really do feel like part of a war miniseries somewhat. With the Sit's being trained, the scoobies staying in generally one place, Buffy enlisting the help of her former enemy Faith to win, the deep conversatinons between the characters (one of the best being between Anya and Andrew), The First Evil getting Caleb as a lieutenant, the armies of Turok-Han, and the abandonment and eventual destruction, really gave the the season a sense of urgency and tension that I enjoyed. HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2003 Oh damn it all...my season rankings Season 3(Doppelgangland, Amends, The Wish, Faith Hope & Trick, just so many great episodes) Season 2(Introduced Spike...nuff said Some great episodes and a great arc with Angel) Season 5(Loved Glory as the villian, some good, solid episodes and a good arc) Season 4(Hush, Restless, Superstar and others. Good season) Season 6(Wasn't too enamored at first but watching re-runs on FX, I'm finding it better. Some good episodes too including Seeing Red and Normal Again) Season 7(Ended the series, Caleb ruled, I REALLY hated the SIT's though which somewhat dampers the season for me. James fucking ruled it though) Season 1(I love this season with Nightmares, Prophecy Girl, The Pack standing out for me however it was only 12 episodes long so it couldn't really get a great arc going.
