Mrnoitaull 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2003 I was reading Raw's results and it said that Victori put Trish in " The Spider's Web/Spider Web" Can someone describe this move to me?
razazteca 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2003 Are you sure its not the Widows Peak, it would be her finisher.
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2003 It's a hard move to explain. I've thought about it and can't do it
Jack_Bauer 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2003 OK. Widow's Peak is an AWESOME move, which I can't be assed describing, meaning there was NO point in me being here.
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2003 Imagine Trish's feet being hooked out in front of Victoria's knees. And Vicky's hands hooking around her chin. She holds that position and drops to her bum
Insane Bump Machine 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2003 It's probably the Widow's Peak, her awesome finishing move. She does it in this movie of the new Smackdown game: http://streamingmovies.ign.com/sports/wweb...ra_006_free.wmv
Guest Max Peter David Report post Posted October 16, 2003 If you follow the Indys, it's Quiet Storm's Spinal Shock. It's a hangman's neckbreaker while hooking the legs, basically.
Guest Mindless_Aggression Report post Posted October 16, 2003 Actually, I believe the Spider's Web is her torture rack into a sideslam, as mentioned the Widows Peak is indeed the Spinal shock. And she didn't even hit that, she did hit the torture rack/sideslam combo though.
notJames 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2003 Mindless is right. That's the Spider's Web. Personally I think she should switch that with the Whiplash move that Ivory used to use (fireman's carry into Michinoku Driver).
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2003 I still say The Widow Maker would be a better name for her finisher.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2003 And she didn't even hit that, she did hit the torture rack/sideslam combo though. That is one of my favorite moves, that and the Stevie T.
Guest Max Peter David Report post Posted October 16, 2003 I still say The Widow Maker would be a better name for her finisher. Or the Widower Maker, seeing that she usually hits it on women, and hitting the Widow Maker on Trish would not kill her husband.
notJames 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2003 Plus, the "Widowmaker" is the unofficial name of Sean O'Haire's reverse DVD finisher. Not that anyone watches Velocity enough to notice...
Jack_Bauer 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2003 I am a Velocity watcher but I just havent concentrated on commentary. Me and my mates just talk about matches as they happen. I have been a Velocity fan for a while.
notJames 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2003 It was more of a joke than an actual comment about the show. I often find it more enjoyable than SD!... definitely better than RAW. And I think the best part of the show is the commentary team. Tazz and Josh go balls out with the stuff they say. It seems like they pretty much have carte blanche to say anything they want, so you get a lot of extemporaneous bantering, a little bit of smark commentary, and a lot of background stuff on the actual wrestlers. Good stuff.
