One point for each difference of 3 saves.

Nolan Ryan - 3

Nigel McClain - 0

New value: 602

If they throw with a different hand and are starters subtract 10.

Nolan - RHP

McClain - LHP

New value: 592

Nigel McClain, ironically, is more similar to Nolan Ryan than Ferguson Jenkins, the player whose picture was used for Nigel's character.

Evolution, could you give me a little insight in why Stanton always does pretty well K wise and yet always have bad records and ERA? Does he play for a shitty team or is he incredibly inconsistent?

Stanton has been playing on the historically-inconsistent Atlanta Hanoi Janes since 2028, but his ERC is usually a little higher than his ERA, meaning that the team is able to keep his ERA lower than it actually should be based on how he pitches.

Oh, and if anyone else wants to have their player compared to an MLB player, just let me know and I'll give it a shot.

Hmm... I'd be interested in a comparison between Fury and someone on the likes of Jim Thome.

I know Fury didn't have too long of a career, so the numbers might be skewed... But, it might be interesting.

To this there is a positional adjustment. Each position has a value, and you subtract the difference between the two players position. James just uses primary position, but I computed an average position for players who had more than one primary position. (See Ernie Banks)

* 240 - Catcher

* 168 - Shortstop

* 132 - Second Base

* 84 - Third Base

* 48 - Outfield (James distinguishes, but I don't have that data incorporated at the moment)

* 12 - First Base

* 0 - DH

Oklahoma Post-Game Party

Posted by SFBLadmin

In case you've been living under a rock, you've probably already seen the aftermath of the Oklahoma Twisters' victory in the SFBL Championship Series against the Houston Horny Toads. Fans, understandably overjoyed with Oklahoma's first championship win in franchise history, rushed the field. However, the 25 cent beer night combined with 25 cent aphrodisiac-dog night made for some very horny fans, as the females rushed the hunky men players and the male fans rushed the females. It was an orgy that would make the rumored Jacksonville Jackoff private orgies of their championship years pale in comparison. That and it was live in front of 4 billion people all over the world.

There's already backlash on the net about this, just look it up and you'll find housewives up in arms about this. Personally, I feel the networks had every right to keep the cameras running. This was no different from the stuff that's on before or after this game, so it'd just be delaying the inevitable to point the finger at the SFBL.

Oklahoma Orgy Aftermath

In the wake of what people are now calling the Oklahoma Orgy, SFBL President John Ashcroft's Head has lashed out, suspending every member of the Oklahoma Twisters for the entire 2043 season, and also suspending the five members of the Houston Horny Toads who weren't dejected enough to engage in the Orgy.

Says Ashcroft's Head, "This may seem like a rash punishment, but there is no punishment more severe than the punishment that has been unleashed on the world's boys and girls by seeing this ultrasexual display.

It is estimated that more than 50,000 people engaged in this orgy, many leaving their kids behind in the stands to engage in sexual activities with Oklahoma Twisters players and/or female fans in attendance. Guiness World Book of Records will be investigating the tape later today to decide whether or not this will break the previous record for Largest Orgy, currently sitting at 46,760 following Lil' Kim's final concert before she was to serve a life sentence in prison for "triflin'".

Spring Training Attendance Non-Existent

SFBL President John Ashcroft's Head has proclaimed that there will be a major announcement regarding the SFBL tomorrow, one day after opening day in Spring Training resulted in a total attendance of 46 at all 12 games played today along the SFBL training sites.

"This abysmal attendance is obviously in connection to the Oklahoma Orgy, and despite the punishment I have dished out to the players involved in that disgusting act, it seems that something will have to be done to save this league," said Ashcroft.
