Next Indy Worker In Velocity Hell

Recommended Posts

Guest JumpinJackFlash

I've seen a bunch of indy guys go to the WWE and end up in Velocity Hell, when they are much better than that(or so I've heard and seen). So, my question is who do you think is next to jump to the WWE and be sent to Velocity Hell? I think it may be Kid Kash, since I've read about Kid Kash thinking about going to the WWE. But that was a few weeks back, so he may have made up his mind to stay in NWA-TNA.

Thoughts, opinions, rants?

If Joey Matthews isn't already signed, then probably him. He's been on the show like 3 times in the last couple of months.

Either Joey Matthews, (he's turned up his game bigtime lately, and as peeps said, he's already had a bunch of matches)

Michael Shane, (because of the family connection, I'm surprised he hasn't been signed already.)

or Greg Matthews (former Tough Enough 1 guy now in CZW, the one everybody picked to win before the back injury.) Greg's developed into a solid little worker thanks to a good couple years of indy work, miles ahead of Maven and Nowinski. Heck, he's big and he's got the superstar look, I'm surprised he hasn't been signed yet too.

^^^^^^^

Are you drunk foo? :P

Joey Matthews or Bobby Rude. Both have appeared soooo many times before, that they will get signed. Possibly Tyson Dux. He had his own entrance vs Matt Hardy. Are they testing how he will come out or how he plays too the crowd during his entrence?

Plus he is an awesome worker, and he is over just for dancing and being silly

Dux > Rude

Bobby Rude.

The guy is a damned good worker, which is coming from someone who used to watch him wrestle, literally, every single week.

He's got the look, he's got a decent character (Though I'd assume the fed would change that) and he can go out there and wrestle. I wouldn't be shocked in the LEAST if the fed picked him up soon.

For the record, if you're curious to see what kind of a worker he is, check out newscott.com - It's a tape-trading site, where you can get copies of (among many, many other things) the Maritime Cup, which was an 8-man, one night tournament in which Bobby Rude ruled the school.

But in any event...that's my pick.

John Walters

He was a security guard on Raw Monday, and has been working dark matches for a couple months now.

Aside from those already mentioned, I'd have to go with Trent Acid. He's about as close as you can get to being the total package in the WWE's eyes. Charisma, ability, "superstar look", can work a crowd. Hell, the guy can draw women to shows like he was a friggin' Hardy or something.

Looks like Kenzo Suzuki might get a contract too. He sucks ass, but WWE had him work dark matches at Raw and Smackdown and he won both. They'll probably hire him for the Japanese mafia group.

Are you Canadian Metal Maniac?

I know NewScott actually, and the Maritime Cup was apparently a great success. I can't wait to get a copy.

Also, Rude done well in his outing in the ECWA Super 8 in 2002.

Possibly Bryan Danielson, if he ever comes back to the United States. He had a pretty good match on Velocity a few months ago against Jamie Noble, and got over on his stiff strikes and submissions. I think WWE showed alot of interest in him.

If they sign Bryan Danielson, it won't be because they're impressed. It'll be because Shawn Michaels tells them to. There is no way American Dragon's style will get over in WWE. Well... they could go the Lance Storm route, and have him dance around like an idiot, I guess. In the minds of marks, Good Wrestling = Boring.

WWE sayed they would be interesting in Danielson if he got a darker colorer and improved his look.

While not exactly a cruiserweight, they could easily bring in Danielson as the techie heel "wrestler" on Smackdown. He could brag that the cruisers would not have a chance against him 'cause he'd take them down before they could ever fly against him.

Oh, and the Cattle Mutilation would be over like rover.

Next in Velocity hell would probabley be Joey Matthews. WWE seems to be greatly interested in him. He has had several matches on Heat and Velocity. Also has worked many house shows in his local area. He drawed heat in his apperences. Especially in his match againest Ultimo Dragon on Velocity a few weeks back.
