Well I found out the year after I graduated High School that they got a new principal that made a bunch of stupid rules. One of his was to take out the Coke machines and replace them with Juice machines....needless to say the students weren't happy.

When I went to school though they made us wear our Student ID's on a lanyard around our necks...I didn't like it at all. This is coming from somone that just wears T-shirt and jeans...or t-shirt and shorts. I don't like putting on a bunch of "gear". So I hated having that bastard around my neck. And so did a lot of people.

We had a dress code where you weren't allowed to wear belts because they could be used as weapons. Of course, being that I'm one of the skinnest men alive, it was "Um...if I don't wear a belt, then either my pants are too short or they're going to fall down..."

 

I also found it hypocritical that you technically weren't allowed to wear rings (again, a potential weapon), but Josten's is selling class rings on school property.

Our dress code was pretty strict, too. Guys, for example, had to tuck in all button-down shirts, couldn't wear earrings, their hair could not be below their ears or reach the collar of their shirt or be below their eyebrows in front. No tongue piercings or nose piercings or any other visible piercings that were not in female ears. Shorts had to be one inch above the knee (and womens' shorts do not come that long). No open-toed sandals (and now they can wear flip flops...what the fuck?). Hair couldn't be dyed any "unnatural" color. Certain other types of jewelry (besides piercings) and belts and such were prohibited. There were a bunch of other things, too, but it's been four and a half years since I looked at the dress code, so the rest are escaping me now.

 

As for fucked up stuff...um, one time this guy popped the principal real good in the mouth. There was a cat head found in someone's locker one time. Two students broke all of the glass doors at the front of the school and somehow made it look like our rival high school did it.

 

Junior year, we were out wrapping houses during homecoming week and a truck full of students (these were people all in my class, mind you) managed to somehow hit a donkey that was standing in the middle of the farm to market road and run over it (our class was known as The Donkey Killers after that incident).

 

One year during Homecoming one students' dad shot at a bunch of other students. Explanation: the class homecoming floats are always made at one person's house, but that place is supposed to be kept secret from the other classes, because if it's found out, the other classes would try to go trash that class' float. So the senior class found out where this particular class' float was and a few of its members were trying to climb the fence to sabotage the float, and the girl's dad got out his shot gun and started shooting at them, thinking they were burglars.

 

Just recently, a graduate of my old high school was found at the football field. He'd hanged himself.

 

There were also various automobile-related deaths, too.

 

Other than that, there really wasn't that much that was bad, at least not that I can remember.

Wow, my high school sucked in the way that nothing interesting happened. Our test scores were high, everything but our football team was almost tops in the state. Not that many came to school fucked up, but we had a shitload of emo kids. We had lame homecoming parades that were never sabatoged, and hardcore parties involved smirnoff ice and mikes hard lemonade. The stoners were all rich fucks who drove brand new suvs, who then tried to shun the preps, even though they were the same thing.

 

However, we did have death. One girl died in a car wreck just down the street from me during my Sophomore year. Now we can't turn left onto that street anymore. And, we had two suicides last year, I didn't know either kid, since they were both Freshmen. They took their lives by hanging in their closets.

 

No gangbangs or lesbian orgies that I knew about.

Our school dress code was almost nonexistent. The only rules I remember, were shorts couldn't be too short, and no wallet chains. We had kids walking around in Marlboro shirts with holes in them and shit, almost all of us with long hair, some of which was blue or green or red, one kid that wore this black shirt that said Beelzebub that never really talked to anyone (wasn't me, either), the token gay dudes in gaywear, the trendy lesbians in trendy lesbianwear, the kid that blatantly chewed tobacco and never got in trouble, and a foul-mouthed Janitor.

There's a website that will tell you not only where such bathrooms are located, but what time of day to go, what type of guys are usually there, and any local "secret codes" you may need to know while cruising for gay sex. There's a lot of them in every city, but colleges have the most, beating out rest areas by a fair margin.

- Some kids carry knives in their bookbags.

 

My school's pretty fucked up to say the least. Also, the assistant principal is a major bitch. When kids buy drinks during lunch or in the morning before school, they take it with them to class. So one day, the bitch comes in sees this girl's drink, snatches it while the girl is drinking it and just walks off with it.

Nobody has ever died at their times at my school. In my first year, the school captain from the year before died of cancer, but that's the extent of it really.

 

I can only ever think of 1.5 people being expelled in my school (the .5 because one guy was allowed to come back to sit the final exam, but not allowed to attend the classes before it).

 

It's the second best school in my state, mind you. And it sucks, because everyone is so freaking nerdy. It's like going to a private school, except without the good facilities.

We had a dress code, but of course, I went to a Catholic high school, and I'm pretty sure they all have similar dress codes (sportcoat, decent pants, dress shoes, etc). No one really objected to it, and there were certain times throughout the year we got to dress down, so it was all good.

 

It was an all-guys school, too, so we missed out on lesbian orgies in the locker rooms (and no, there were no male orgies). We had a couple people kill themselves, some gay-bashing, and general douchebaggery from a few consistent assholes, but that's about it. After I left, the school chaplain got busted for molesting a student (which I have a hard time believing), and one of the English teachers got busted for having sex with a student (which I can believe; she put on an air of being easy and flirted with some of her students).
