Cuban Linx Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 5 seconds left, Duncan going for a 50 yard field goal... And it's short! Nobody wants to win this game, 5 missed FG's and a missed PAT. Overtime he we come.
Cuban Linx Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Duncan going for a 39 yard FG for the win. And... It's good! The 49'ers join the Packers in the land of shame after losing to the Cardinals.
Fökai Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Thank GOD the Eagles won to get me to 6-2. I don't think it's embarrassing to lose to the Cardinals anymore. They're an exciting crew of players (this is the first time I've seen a ARZ game in over 5 years). I'm more disgusted with how the Niners' special teams AND secondary choked when it matters.
Fökai Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 God damn the 49ers suck. Well, they would've won, had I been kicking field goals instead of Pochman. See ya later, Pochman. Enjoy your lengthy stay in free agency.
Kahran Ramsus Posted October 27, 2003 Author Report Posted October 27, 2003 Duncan going for a 39 yard FG for the win. And... It's good! The 49'ers join the Packers in the land of shame after losing to the Cardinals. And the Niners are about #2 on my most hated teams list, so I'm glad we have them as company.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 My fantasy team's looking at a 7-1 record now.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Brian Billick will never win another instant replay challenge again. ``I quit. I give up,'' Billick said. ``I've tried to be an advocate for instant replay. I've tried to do the company line. I've said the right things. ``Dump the whole thing. We have spent so much money on this thing and it doesn't work. I've tried. ``League,'' he said, looking skyward, ``I'm sorry. I've tried to hold the line. Dump it. Get rid of the whole damn thing because it doesn't work.'' Six days earlier, Billick sounded off against replay after Baltimore receiver Frank Sanders apparently tagged Cincinnati cornerback Tory James after an interception, but referee Johnny Grier ruled otherwise after watching the replay. ``I don't know that Johnny wasn't looking at pictures of his kids in that little booth,'' Billick said. ``I'm still an advocate of instant replay, but I've long been an advocate of taking it off the field. Let's take it upstairs,'' Billick said. ``With the current system, I've got to expend a timeout, embarrass the officials and throw a red flag out on the field, let him go in and look at God knows what on the Internet, and come out and tell me I didn't get a definitive view to overrule it.'' And Buffalo is winning 2-0..
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Geez I didn't hear all this whining when the Browns were screwed in 01. I mean they broke the rules of replay to give the Jaguars a win.
Guest Choken One Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Glad the Bengals showed up, glad Dillon and his Wife were uninjured as well.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Woo hoo. 5th straight 30 point game by Tennessee. This time on the legs of George. Titans officially have the #1 ranked offense in the league statistically. We can play with anybody in the league right now. Three straight routes of their opponents, and they have Miami next. Should be a good game. With the passing and running game and defense as dominating as they are, I don't see anyone stopping us anythime soon. Its good to be a Titan fan. Except for the Pats, we beat you
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Man the Chiefs are something. Im actually much more impressed at the Ravens effort vs them a couple weeks ago.
Spaceman Spiff Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Nice Jay Fiedler-ian block by Trent Green...
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 7 turnovers for the Chiefs...
Kahran Ramsus Posted October 27, 2003 Author Report Posted October 27, 2003 Man the Chiefs are something. Im actually much more impressed at the Ravens effort vs them a couple weeks ago. And the Pack had them beat, but let it get away.
Spaceman Spiff Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 Nobody watching MNF? At least *I'm* enjoying it.
Guest Flyboy Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 Nobody watching MNF? At least *I'm* enjoying it. I'm simulating a game in Madden, actually.
Cuban Linx Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 The only thing i care about in this MNF game is hoping Ricky Williams does jack shit so i can win my fantasy football game.
Spaceman Spiff Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 Nobody watching MNF? At least *I'm* enjoying it. I'm simulating a game in Madden, actually. Well, I guess that's the only place the Saints can win a game...
Rob E Dangerously Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 It seems the Tempe crowd doesn't like David Boston
Spaceman Spiff Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 Yeah, I kinda got that inkling.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 Im just happy that Griese has played well enough to keep me from losing in FF.

Well, I guess that's the only place the Saints can win a game... Oh, ho ho ho. Shut the fuck up. Speaking of which, I'm watching them play the Packers in the Divisional playoffs in Year 4.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 The poor chargers can't do anything in the Red Zone.. err..next Play afterwards, LT sneaks right in for the TD...
ANKLELOCK Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 Jeez, Miami doesn't look so tough. We should beat em up next game. YAWN.
