WTF WHY MUST WE WAIT ANOTHER WEEK

They should just show them all in one day. I'd fucking watch.

I concur, makes me want to fast forward to next Labor Day

I am trying to find a way they can still abide by the "not going to release the virus for two hours" bit, and still work the idea that Tony was really the infected one. But the fact they spilled his blood kills the waiting to release bit.

But there was just something in the way that went down, that makes me think Tony is the infected one.

Chase is going to use his knowledge of Jack's addiction to force Jack to put him back in the field.

I think Chase is going to tell Kim and try and convince her that Jack is a bad, bad man. Then, the ultimate showdown: Jack v. Chase.

I still think they are grooming Chase to replace Jack if Keifer really wants out after this season. So I don't think we'll have a major confrontation like that.

This is why Tony can't replace Jack.

He's better off making phone calls.

The guy had to create a diversion for Kyle to get out, that's why he shot Tony. There's no possible scenerio in which Tony is infected, methinks.

I first thought when the bad guy bumped into Tony, be put something on him that was the virus.

Then he got shot, and I yelled "What the FUCK?? They shot Tony in the neck?!?! Who does that???"

What's with all the Tony hate?

I haven't yelled at my TV in years...but I actually shouted "NO!" when he was shot. He is/was one of my favorite characters throughout the first two seasons.

Damn, Michelle is going to take it hard. It's pretty damn fucked up that they didn't even mention Tony in the preview.

This is going to work out well for Michelle. I doubt this will kill Tony, and it would probably affect getting the job in Langley. So she will have him around.

Of course it could be interesting, since she will probably head CTU for the time being. They need to make me care about that though, since I am not a big fan of her character.

At that point, I hope she dies at some point in the season.

God, this show brings out the mysogyny in me. I find myself hating all of the female characters. I wanted Teri to die in Season 1, by the end of last season I wouldn't have minded seeing Kate getting hit by a bus, and this season I already hate Salazar's wife and am 50/50 on Michelle.

That was my reaction too, although after the initial "NOOOOOOOOOOO", I was just quiet.

I don't think they are going to kill Tony this early though. Just a thought, since he's been a good character for them, and a deathbed scene with him and Michelle may be the underdog-tearjerker of the season. (Season 1 being Jack on the dock and Season 2 being George and his son)

I don't hate Tony, but don't understand the love he gets.

He usually ends up getting in Jack's way more than anything else.

Tony doesn't take shit from almost anyone, he came through CLUTCH in Season 1 when he killed the assassin that came after Teri, stood his ground against Mason in Season 2 when he was being a prick, took over CTU with flying colors, etc.

How could you not like the guy?

He only gets in Jack's way because Tony tries to think things through before he acts. Once he's presented with something that can help prove whatever needs be proved, Tony is loyal and will help.

You know, now that I think about it...

The big "scandal" that was going to supposedly bring down Palmer was a bit of a letdown, wasn't it? I think it will get very interesting if someone finds out about the payoff though.
