Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2003 Seriously, Ernest Miller? Kanyon wastes away in dark matches, occasionally jobbing to Orlando Jordan on Velocity, yet they're having Miller be an active wrestler? What, is he teaching Steph karate or something? What could their reasoning possibly be on this?
Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted October 31, 2003 Ernest Miller was a pretty good draw when Sonny Ono managed him
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2003 He was entertaining for a little while. As long as he doesn't have Ms. Jones with him I can stand him...I guess
Toxxic 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2003 Ah, Ernest Miller - the poor man's Steve Blackman. I can only assume that management went: "Well, we have this guy we don't know about from WCW, let's put him on the colour spot on Velocity" Months later... "Oh dear God! I just watched Velocity and Miller's awful! Maybe he's a wrestler, not an announcer! Hype him up and send him into the ring, he can probably have some decent matches against people who kick a lot. You know, like Tajaki. Fujiri? The little Jap guy with the short hair rather than the one with the long hair. Oh, and maybe that guy in the sparkly cape and the fire as well, what's his name?" Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Report post Posted October 31, 2003 There is absolutely nothing remotely positive about the Cat.
Matt Young 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2003 I missed his vignette, but I thought he sucked in WCW. He's funny as a commentator, but sucks balls in the ring.

Kanyon wastes away in dark matches, occasionally jobbing to Orlando Jordan on Velocity, yet they're having Miller be an active wrestler? What, is he teaching Steph karate or something? What could their reasoning possibly be on this? I guess they wanted to see if they could actually push a guy who doesn't actually do ANY wrestling moves in a match. -=Mike

Bored 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2003 Ernest Miller was a pretty good draw UH BUHHHHH!?!?!!? I think this person probably mixing up "draw" and "over." No one was a draw in WCW in their final year but The Cat was over when he was in his commisioner role. But yes he is complete shit in the ring and should really only be a manager. He should manage Tajiri's posse, or at least feud with them...just like the ninjas.

Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2003 People should expect stupid roster decisions from the WWE by now. I really don't expect him to get any further than Velocity, but with the brain trust currently running things who knows.

Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2003 The Cat's awesome as an entertainer. He's not great in the ring, but the man can cut some hilarious promos and he is quite the dancer.
