DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 I'm having bad luck at posting things that are already up because I can;t find it and am apparently blind, so hopefully this is new... Ron Simmons will be selling his injury angle until after Survivor Series so he's not going to be in the elimination match. John Cena will be turning babyface, theoretically with a mega push, for this show. I'm presuming A-Train will move to the other side so the match is Cena & Chris Benoit & Kurt Angle & Bradshaw & Bob Holly vs. Brock Lesnar & Matt Morgan & Nathan Jones & Big Show & possibly A-Train (I'm just about certain on A-Train)

Austin3164life 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2003 It'd be stupid if they push Cena too hard already. They should do a slow burn. Cena should be on the heel team and win it by pinning Kurt Angle.
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2003 The pin of that match should enhance the Benoit/Lesnar storyline, no matter how they do it. Cena vs Angle already happened and if the reports from a while back are correct, they'll be tagging soon.
{''({o..o})''} 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2003 Having this match in SS format is seriously one of the worst ideas in recent memory. It will cut Cena down right after his face turn if he doesn't win, set Morgan and Jones out to be stoppable monsters, damage Benoit yet again if he doesn't keep his momentum, and last and worse, it has Bob Holly in it. Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted November 3, 2003 The moral of the story is this, kids. Since John Cena is so unsuccessful getting the better of those in the 'good guy' camp, he has to join that camp himself. "If you can't beat them, join them." That's essentially the message being said by joining up with Kurt Angle.

That's essentially the message being said by joining up with Kurt Angle. Which is why I think he'll be seen as a lame-duck babyface by pairing up with the guys he lost to. It would be much greater if he learned from his mistakes with some important wins over the same people (ex., Angle).
