Guest One Trick Pony Report post Posted November 4, 2003 Besides that powerbomb looking sick and sloppy as hell it injured Stevie. For those who missed it, Stevie looked legit hurt and the ref threw up the "x" arms. Now unless it's a swerve and is foreshadowing DX's return it means that yet another big guy who injures people is getting pushed. They didn't learn with Brock. They didn't learn with Batista. Ugh. Guest Frank The Tank Report post Posted November 4, 2003 Off topic Is it just me or does this John Heidenwhatever look just like Dan Spivey. That powerbomb did look sick and I hope Stevie is okay.
Fökai 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2003 Batista injured someone? And by injuring someone, does that necessarily make them a bad worker? Edge injured Miguel Perez, Jr.(?) in his WWE debut match as well.
Highland 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2003 OMG! He made a rookie mistake and hurt someone, something that unfortunately happens sometimes! /end sarcasm so....when do we start hating the guy, instead of just being largely indifferent?
Guest One Trick Pony Report post Posted November 4, 2003 Batista injured someone? He injured himself. Sorry I was a bit misinformed/vague with this topic as it was done out of haste before someone else did it.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2003 I think we're just more mad about the fact that WWE signed another dangerously green hoss instead of someone talented.
NYU 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2003 It wasn't John Heidenrich's fault. Little Johnny is to blame. Get it. Little Johnny!!! Ah, how I love creativity.
Fökai 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2003 I think we're just more mad about the fact that WWE signed another dangerously green hoss instead of someone talented. Hasn't Heidenreich been in UPW and OVW for a while? Nathan Jones was another story - he was put on WWE TV out of the gate, after working only a few shows with WWA. Nathan Jones has worked with UPW, WWA, and Z1. He's even teamed with Heidenreich I believe.

LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2003 Hurrah for jumping to conclusions after the guy has 2 matches. Oh sorry...didn't realize he was waiting until the right opportunity to stop sucking. Maybe he's like Greg Valentine, but in his case it takes him 10 matches to start getting good? Guest One Trick Pony Report post Posted November 4, 2003 Injuries happen in the business, get over it. Yeah injuries happen but they shouldn't be happening in matches because someone doesn't know how to not hurt the other person. Injuries happen in life. If someone shoots you by accident because they don't know how to use a gun, does that make it OK?
Guest Choken One Report post Posted November 4, 2003 D'lo paralyzed a Man for life. People forgave him. Marty Jannetty and HBK injured a man for life. People gave them a break. Owen Hart nearly prevented the revival of Professional wrestling. People forgive him. And yet you call for the head of John Heidenreich because he *might* have injured a Low Carder. Guest The Old Me Report post Posted November 4, 2003 For one, yes Heidenreich DOES look like Spivey. And what the fuck is the big deal? People get hurt in this business. Brock is the best thing to happen to the WWE in the past 2 years. If Bob Holly had to be injured on that road, so be it. It's going to happen.

Yeah injuries happen but they shouldn't be happening in matches because someone doesn't know how to not hurt the other person. Injuries happen in life. If someone shoots you by accident because they don't know how to use a gun, does that make it OK? That's going a little far. I don't care that he may have injured someone. I care that WWE is constantly signing no talent wrestlers while good ones are floating around out there wanting a shot at the big time. Like this Japanese guy they just signed that everyone is saying is horrible. What was the purpose of even signing him??

If someone shoots you by accident because they don't know how to use a gun, does that make it OK? Apples and Oranges. Injuries are at least somewhat controled and/or expected in their line of work. It's an accident if it happens there and it's also a caculated risk. You aren't an expert to judge if Heidenreich is dangerous in the ring. Maybe Steve didn't "Fall" right. Maybe it was both of their faults he got hurt. Now if I get "cow blasted" while walking down the street, it's a whole new game. If I were to get shot while hunting, then I'd buy what you're selling. Damaramu 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2003 Hmm....yes injuries do happen. Unfortunately lately they seem to be done by the over green kids from OVW. I think this says either A) They aren't ready B) OVW isn't doing it's job.

Like this Japanese guy they just signed that everyone is saying is horrible. What was the purpose of even signing him?? So this comes down to Hoss Hating. Didn't they sign Ultimo and London for the workrate shows? Hosses gotta get some love too And I went to the TNA aniversary show and didn't think the Japanese Guy was that bad. He didn't set the world on fire but he wasn't terrible. WWE probably see's something in the guy that is marketable thats why they signed him.

Guest Danny Dubya v 2.0 Report post Posted November 4, 2003 He is quite a move-seller and vulnerable-looking guy for a WWE homegrown hoss, I'll say that much. That match wasn't below average.

Guest PowerPB13 Report post Posted November 4, 2003 People, people, it's not all bad... Very very soon, WWE will be out of business and the hoss will be out of a job. It's as simple as that. -Patrick
