JasonX Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 My guesses: 1. Vince/Undertaker: Either the rumored Steph heel turn or Kane will interfer and cost UT the match. 2. Team Austin vs Team Bischoff: Either HBK or Trish turns heel and helps cost Austin the match and his job 3. Team Angle vs Team Hoss: John Cena turns heel again and costs Angle's team the match...
AndrewTS Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 The fans. *rimshot* I think Taker is the obvious answer, because Vince is gonna go over--not a doubt in my mind.
Guest Boddicker Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 I think #2 is a very real possibility, now that I think of it. Trish could come out to "save" Y2J and somehow cost the face team the match, turning her heel.
Guest Choken One Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 A heel turn isn't a Screw Job. But with Vince DEAD SET on getting Bret, don't look for a Screw Job scenario here.
Aero Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 A heel turn isn't a Screw Job. But with Vince DEAD SET on getting Bret, don't look for a Screw Job scenario here. Yeah, I agree about heel turns not being screwjobs in the Bret Hart sense. But, either Kane costs Taker the match or Trish saving Jericho sounds about right. I don't see Cena turning heel again, just yet. The crowd was loving him on Smackdown.
Guest drdrainoscott Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Actually, a Cena heel turn would follow Rock's series of events almost exactly. If you remeber, Rock turned face a couple of weeks prior to Survivor Series 98, only to turn heel at the PPV. I'd be all for the heel turn, since he could turn right back in a couple months and be even more over.
Guest Choken One Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Rock never actually turned face to be technical...according to him anyways.
Fökai Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 1. Goldberg retains at Survivor Series. 2. Kane injures and puts away Shane for a while. 3. Kane interferes in the UT/Vince match and puts away UT for the time being...Kane thus becomes a protege of Vince, and gets the shot at Goldberg at Armageddon.
Aero Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 The only instance where Rock seemed to turn face was when he gave Vince the People's Elbow. Between Summerslam and Survivor Series, he was just the upper mid-card/lower tier main eventer... then he won at Survivor Series and was at the top.
Guest Choken One Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 What REALLY annoys me is how the biggest pushed wrestler the last month is naturally MATCH less for Series. I'm talking about Batistia. Again, It perturbs me that they didn't just go with Batistia/Goldberg. No one was ordering Series for the Re-Match anyways...Here you can keep mr. no legs off air for more time and make goldberg look a little better.
Mole Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 A heel turn isn't a Screw Job. But with Vince DEAD SET on getting Bret, don't look for a Screw Job scenario here. I don't see Cena turning heel again, just yet. The crowd was loving him on Smackdown. I think we have seen the last of the screw jobs. Vince wants to make everything with him and Bret alright, so this would be the last thing he would do. Then again, it is Vince we are talking about...
razazteca Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 The show is in Dallas right? So it has to be Team Austin and most likely it will be Booker T or HBK.
Guest Choken One Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Booker isn't really known for being a Texan like Shawn is.
razazteca Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Booker T is announced as being from Houston now. So far all of the Texans on the PPV are. Austin HBK Booker T Undertaker Guerrero - Does they have a match either Eddy or Chavo?
Guest Choken One Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Eddy/Chavo will face the Bashams and it's all but assured they are doing the 94 rumble finish here. You forgot the biggest Texan after Austin, Bradshaw. Although Brock will tell you otherwise.
razazteca Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Well the smallest Texans are Funaki, Jazz, Jaqline.
Youth N Asia Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 I think they should pull The Survivor Series Screwjob Backfire already...fans already are going into the show waiting for some evil heel action to ruin the show. I was a victim in 99 when I paid to see Austin switched for the Big Show world title win...everyone in the building got robbed that night.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 IF rumors are true, Benoit is beating Brock to win his Survivor Series Match, setting up a match for RRumble possible. So if Cena turns, it won't cost the team the match. But I doubt he'll turn. The crowd cheers him more than most babyfaces.
deancoles Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 the people screwed are the ones who buy the ppv.Thank god i'm british.
Mole Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Thank god i'm british. Well, I don't know about that...
deancoles Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Thank god i'm british. Well, I don't know about that... being from England is ok apart from being crap at all sports except Rugby, having to watch ppvs at 1 in the morning(try watching a bashams vs APA match when your tired and need sleep),getting games later than americans and the fact that our greatest ever wrestler has been in a wheelchair for years.
Aero Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Eddy/Chavo will face the Bashams and it's all but assured they are doing the 94 rumble finish here. Actually, I thought I heard Cole say that since Eddie won the handicap match, Guerreros vs. Bashams is next week on Smackdown (I'll be there!). I could be wrong, though.
Guest nikowwf Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 You are not wrong. The match is on Smackdown. niko

Get your ass to Sports and the Div1 thread and i'll hand you your ass on why England rule the world of football.
Slayer Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 ...try watching a bashams vs APA match when your tired and need sleep... I thought that's exactly what would work...
Guest Corino 1000 Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 I think probally Angles team wins due to the fact that Lesnars Team looks absolutely unstoppable, and you know how WWE is acting like its gonna be a miracle when Angles team wins. And I think its pretty obvious Stephanies gonna turn heel and help her dad.
humongous2002 Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 2. Team Austin vs Team Bischoff: Either HBK or Trish turns heel and helps cost Austin the match and his job That's too obvious, i think it will be either Booker or RVD turning heel, the Duds are very stale to do anything with them and HBK doesn't need to turn heel at all. The 2 guys in need of some type of push are Rob and Book.
Nevermortal Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 I think they should pull The Survivor Series Screwjob Backfire already...fans already are going into the show waiting for some evil heel action to ruin the show. I was a victim in 99 when I paid to see Austin switched for the Big Show world title win...everyone in the building got robbed that night. That would've been the perfect night to pull the trigger on a Test mega-push, because he could've gotten serious babyface heat after the wedding.
2GOLD Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 You could do the reverse SS screwjob. Have the Crippler lock on the sharpshooter on Brock and have Heyman run out and call for the bell. I'd actually find that hilarious. And it would be a reverse screwjob since you'd have an American losing on American soil to a Canadian. Course, that would make Brock a face I suppose and Crippler a heel but since Chris deserves a title run then what is better? Then you get Eddie vs Chris and Eddie vs Kurt title matches, not to mention a Brock/ Crippler rematch.
