Guest unleashedfury Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 This is from 1wrestling.com: BROCK LESNAR SIGNING AT VIDEO GAME CENTRAL HUGE TURN OUT The signing today at Video Game Central in Howard Beach had a great turnout of about 550 fans. Some came as far away as Texas just to meet Brock in person. Women were crying, screaming and many gave him roses. Some were throwing themselves on his limo as he was leaving. One even jumped on the roof. Brock was a little under the weather, but accommodated everyone, from kissing babies to posing for pictures. Video Game Central also received many requests for mail order photo's of Brock. I would like to thank Anthony and Video Game Central for giving me some autographed photo's for our Chatterbox snail mail Newsletter Contests. Thank you. Many were asking Brock questions about his football career as line backer, and many of course spoke to him about Crash Holly's death. Brock said, everyone was shocked and sadden at the news. After the signing, Brock left to attend the WWE house show tonight. Brock hope your feeling better. Thanks for making a very enjoyable day for so many fans, especially the female ones.

rising up out of the back seat-nuh Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 Brock was a little under the weather, but accommodated everyone, from kissing babies to posing for pictures. That shits dangerous. They'll all have SARS by Monday.
Guest JMA Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 I remember a picture I saw of Brock wrestling Crash in OVW from a wrestling mag. This was before Brock debuted on TV.
Guest One Trick Pony Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 So how many complaints have there been? 1? 2? 3? That's way too many. This guy got a MEGA push and didn't deserve a bit of it because he's never delivered. He's been around a year. We should never hear ANY complaints about him being rude unless we hear of someone else being rude to him first for a wrong reason. Theoretically, he should be a ball of sunshine and be willing to lick fans' balls because of where he's at.
Highland Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 -yawn- Oh...sorry, I tend to do that whenever someone constantly whines about Brock's push and how 'he never deserved it'. Bullshit. Brock is the one of the better things to happen to wwe in a very long time.
Lil' Bitch Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 We should never hear ANY complaints about him being rude unless we hear of someone else being rude to him first for a wrong reason. The guy actually knows how to wrestle. He has an amatuer background. He's a former NCAA Heavyweight Champion. He has really florished on the mic, and in the ring. Not to mention he has a great character & personality. It's time to cut Brock some slack.
Guest Dids Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 Moreover- how many of those 3 complaints do we ever know are valid? Maybe the person who thought Brock was rude was just an asshole?
LooseCannon25 Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 I'm really getting tired of people here picking on Brock all the time. He's one of the best things to come to WWE in a long time. Who's to say these people complaining aren't just bitching. "Oh no, Brock is such an ass because he didn't lick my feet when i said hi to him". Seriously, get the fuck off of it already.
Guest Coffey Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 This is from 1wrestling.com: Brock hope your feeling better. The ever so credible, journalistic integrity of 1wrestling.com. Was this sent in to them?
Lil' Bitch Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 Besides, the only reason why Brock got the God push in the first place was because of Austin's walk-out.
LooseCannon25 Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 Besides, the only reason why Brock got the God push in the first place was because of Austin's walk-out. Oh, give me a freakin break man

Guest Frank The Tank Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 As I'm looking at that picture Matt Morgan looks more and more like Test. All he has to do is shave the beard.

Golgo 13 Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 First issue: What do you mean Brock didn't deserve his MEGA push? The guy actually knows how to wrestle. He has an amatuer background. He's a former NCAA Heavyweight Champion. And it's all moot. How good of an amateur you are means jack, since the amateur ranks and the WWE are two completely different things, since you know, they aren't actually wrestling in there. Second issue: Besides, the only reason why Brock got the God push in the first place was because of Austin's walk-out. Ridiculous. The WWE was DEAD SET on giving Brock the God push, Austin or no Austin. So much, that they were willing to sacrifice Stone Cold to Brock, triggering the walk out in the first place. Third issue: If you can't convert, that means crap. How has Brock not converted? Someone not converting from one arena to another would be someone like Ken Shamrock, who never ended up fitting in. Brock has been able to get passable stuff from Undertaker and Big Show of all people, including holding his own and having great matches with Angle and Rock. He has charisma and a presence in the ring. And while still relatively green, like I said, he displays that he knows what he's doing. I may have felt at one point that Brock didn't deserve it, due to having little heat in contrast to his huge push last summer, he's since taken the ball and ran with it, proving himself in spades. Also while I still dislike Brock to some extent, most notably some of his nuances in the ring, I can't deny that he hasn't pulled his weight at least.

Yes, but I'm also a strong Brock Lesnar fan. Why, because the man took the ball when it was given to him, and has ran with it all the way up to right now where he is still running with the ball.
geniusMoment Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 That article is bullshit. No way were women throwing themselves onto his limo. Give me a fucking break.
Lil' Bitch Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 ^ With all the obsessed WWE fans / stalkers out there, I wouldn't be surprised if it happened.

Hate to tell you but he dropped the ball in some dog shit, stale car oil, mud, and vomit along the way. He hasn't delivered in the ring, buyrate-wise, or ratings wise. You being a Shane Douglas fan also doesn't help your credibility at all either.

But as for your claims, I'm sure that there are at least some people here that might disagree with you, not just me.

Ala Big Show and Hogan?
Guest One Trick Pony Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 No because Vince doesn't want to admit he was wrong. The undisputed title and november title reign is also a different story. There's always been a world title change at Survivor Series when it's on the line if I remember correctly and the Undisputed title was changed every month until it was dropped after Jericho lost it.
Fökai Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 There's always been a world title change at Survivor Series when it's on the line if I remember correctly Angle retained at the 2000 Survivor Series. and the Undisputed title was changed every month until it was dropped after Jericho lost it. Undertaker held it from Judgment Day (May) until he dropped it to Rock at Vengeance (July).

Lil' Bitch Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 Undertaker held it from Judgment Day (May) until he dropped it to Rock at Vengeance (July). Although I'm pretty sure HHH would have gotten the title back had his arm not been fucked up.
