BUTT Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Why did Vince admit he was responsible for Owen's death?
RavishingRickRudo Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 "Helen recalled McMahon's speech as a breath of fresh air. 'Vince made clear right away where he stood. He said: 'I am responsible for Owen Hart's death. I want to do right by his family. I know nothing can ever bring him back'" Stu Hart: Lord of the Ring
Kahran Ramsus Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Why did Vince admit he was responsible for Owen's death? He probably feels guilty about it. He does have a heart after all. Vince has a big ego, and probably deep down he does blame himself for Owen's death. Sometimes people try to take blame for things that really aren't their fault, just as certain people shirk their responsibilities for things that are their fault.
Lil' Bitch Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 No! He was like "oh, you want to dedicate your match to Crash, well isn't that nice. Too bad things are going to go tragicly wrong..." His wording was much more to the effect of "Crash is dead and I will piss on his death." So WWE makes a nice guy like Rico say a fucked up thing like that? Eh, I'm not surprised.
Guest Korgath Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Is it just me? Or does every thread that's vaguely related to Crash's passing inadvertently turn out into a revelation of how inane many of the forum users have become?
RavishingRickRudo Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 And sometimes things are their fault. Kinda like when Vince told Owen "Hey, hows about you jump from the ceilin?"
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 two words to explain why they didn't mention him on RAW : LOW CLASS. good job Vince you total fuckass
Guest BionicRedneck Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 I thought it was pretty much common knowledge that Owen said no at first, but was pushed into it by McMahon/Russo etc. Wasn't he afraid of heights, too? Anyway, stop getting out of your prams over the Crash thing. Jeez. Have all of you mourned Crash? Put "RIP Crash Holly" in your sigs? Sent money to his kids? Actually given him a second thought since you heard the news? Didn't think so. Yet Vince deserves ass raping for not putting a video package together and the first opportunity. Sure, if it were me, I would have at least mentioned it, but maybe the WWE have something planned for later, I dunno. Stop getting all high and mighty over this stuff. I'm sure the WWE will have a graphic on SmackDown or something on confidential or at least something. Plus, some people here would probably complain about a video package anyway, just like some did when Shawn Michaels appeared in the Stu Hart tribute.
SamoaRowe Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Of course. We always need something to complain about. No matter what happens in the WWE, we complain.

I'm not a big fan by any means but I thought he was a solid wrestler and it sucks that he died needlessly.
RavishingRickRudo Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Now, I think everyone knows that I am the biggest Crash fan on this board, so you all know how I feel about this...
Lord of The Curry Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Well, of course you are. Why else would you get the tatoo?
RavishingRickRudo Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Well the tattoo was in regards to my love for David Cronenberg films... my love for Crash Holly developed well after and was more of a coincidence.
LJSexay Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 We don't know if they'll make mention of him or anything. Heck, for all we know he's getting a segment onf Confiential all to himself. To re-fucking-lax you guys!
