Eddy Guerrero Honorable Mention Kurt Angle .....i really didn't mean to leave him off The Rock is number one. Its not even a contest. Now go away. Sting over Bret? Macho Man #3? Austin #7? Hogan #1? Son, hook me up with whatever you're smoking.
Shooting Star Posted November 13, 2003 Author Report Posted November 13, 2003 Ok im going to do my list again since i screwed since i was going from past to present which is stupid i know. 1. Hulk Hogan 2. Rock 3. Ric Flair 4. Austin 5. Ricky Steamboat 6. Chris Benoit 7. Kurt Angle 8. Shawn Michaels 9. Macho Man 10. Sting I'm going to leave Eddy g and Bret out since they are not american
RavishingRickRudo Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 You are going to have to define "best" further since you referenced "drawing" as the major factor in putting Hogan as #1... though there were "better" in the ring, and on the mic. This just kinda seems like "favourites".
Guest FrigidSoul Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 You just wait till the debut of Fertig...he'll blow them all away
Guest BDC Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 It's definitely got a tinge to it. You put Hogan up top b/c he was a draw, but then you just kinda put other people that are/were popular. Define the criteria.
Slingshot Suplex Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 well, and Eddie is American.....
Spaceman Spiff Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 Ok im going to do my list again since i screwed since i was going from past to present which is stupid i know. 1. Hulk Hogan 2. Spaceman Spiff Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 (edited) I think Eddie was born in Mexico. Born in Juarez, Mexico Edited November 13, 2003 by Spaceman Spiff
Guest FrigidSoul Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 (edited) Maybe he meant North American Edit: Nevermind, the Thread says U.S.(Duh) maybe he meant ones that wrestled in the U.S. Can't say Chono had a great run in the U.S. but he was great in Japan Edited November 13, 2003 by Plunderin
Spaceman Spiff Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 He took out Bret Hart & Eddy, so I'm pretty sure he meant American. Isn't there a folder for list threads.........
Guest Ray Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 Where's Vader? Dick Beyer? Hansen? Angle...Michaels...Sting...not even close to those ^^^.
RavishingRickRudo Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 Whoa whoa whoa... Wrestling wasn't around before Wrestlemania, buddy. Don't you start bringing up those carnys.
Guest Ray Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 Ooops, I forgot. ::Remembers how Hulkamania invented wrestling::
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 1. Steve Austin Everyone else falls somewhere behind him.
razazteca Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 1. Steve Austin Everyone else falls somewhere behind him. What about RVD?
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 Well...I judge american wrestlers in the three important categories in N. American wrestling. 1. Ability to draw money 2. Ability to talk 3. Ability to have great matches. RVD doesn't fit the top tier of any of those. Austin fits ALL of them. Hogan drew money... Flair would finish second on my list I guess.
Guest Ray Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 1. Steve Austin Everyone else falls somewhere behind him. What about RVD? Austin DESTROYS Van Dam, in terms of drawing power, promos, AND wrestling skill.
razazteca Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 RVD did have some good matches and connects well with the fans.
Guest Ray Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 RVD did have some good matches Did he?
Guest Markingout Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 I hope you are joking about RVD... Anyways, if you judge it that way IMO Austin,Rock, and Flair would be in my top three.
razazteca Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 RVD did have some good matches Did he? RVD in gimmick matches is gold, RVD can be #10 for his ladder matches.
RavishingRickRudo Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 RVD has fun matches... that's about it.
chaosrage Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 RVD did have some good matches Did he? In one ear and out the other.

Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 1. Steve Austin Everyone else falls somewhere behind him. What about RVD? Austin DESTROYS Van Dam, in terms of drawing power, promos, AND wrestling skill. I love how you jump on the smark bandwagon and act like you know shit. Everything is What about Hansen? What about the Destroyer? Huh? Angle sucks, Benoit carried him. Tsuruta made Japanese wrestling. blah blah. You ain't sayin' nothing new, EVER.
Shooting Star Posted November 13, 2003 Author Report Posted November 13, 2003 well, and Eddie is American..... He was born in Juarez Mexico but i know that it can be confusing since in Mexico he played a rich cocky american and in U.S he plays a wet back mexican....am i the only one who sees the irony?
RavishingRickRudo Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 Banky, saying nothing new either. ...Rudo, saying nothing new either.

Hey I spread the content out, and talk about different things. He only talks about the same 5 guys. And give yourself some credit Rick, you do diversify yourself more than Ray. Its all constructive criticism.
