iliketurtles Posted November 14, 2003 Report Posted November 14, 2003 I channel surfing after Smackdown was over and I saw this and thought it was eeriely similiar to the sniper shootings last year, and then of course I saw MOOOOOOOSE and I knew it was about it. This is kind of weird...it's like this happened yesterday and now there's a movie about it. It also is pretty damn close to the real deal, too...as far as how everything looks so far.
Guest Choken One Posted November 14, 2003 Report Posted November 14, 2003 A pretty non-descript protrayal of the events and it was only done to capitilize on the current trials anyways.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted November 14, 2003 Report Posted November 14, 2003 Well that didn't take long...
razazteca Posted November 14, 2003 Report Posted November 14, 2003 I don't watch Movies-of-the-Week about current events.
Guest Choken One Posted November 14, 2003 Report Posted November 14, 2003 What did better ratings? The Elizabeth Smart Movie or the Jessica Lynch movie?
kkktookmybabyaway Posted November 14, 2003 Report Posted November 14, 2003 (edited) Heard Smart won. Don't know about figures though. But the real losers were anyone dumb enough to watch this crap. EDIT: From Zap2it.com CBS Sunday Movie (That was Smart's, wasn't it?) Rating/share/audience/viewers 10.0/17.0/10,872,000/16,039,000 NBC Sunday Movie Rating/share/audience/viewers 9.5/15.0/10,280,000/14,913,000 Methinks a few pics that Larry Flynt recently purchased could have helped NBC... iliketurtles Posted November 14, 2003 Author Report Posted November 14, 2003 They had an Elizabeth Smart & Lynch movie as well? Da fuck? Everyone is selling out.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted November 14, 2003 Report Posted November 14, 2003 Dude, that was sooooo half-a-week ago...
syxx2001 Posted November 14, 2003 Report Posted November 14, 2003 The sniper movie is like a month old or something. It was kinda boring, but it got the story across.
Youth N Asia Posted November 14, 2003 Report Posted November 14, 2003 Snipe movie wasn't fast paced or anything, but it was a good watch. Charles Dutton (is that his name) is a little heavy for the cop though. But they nailed the 2 snipers down pretty good
lomasmoney Posted November 14, 2003 Report Posted November 14, 2003 wow college is really taking away from my tv viewing I havent seen promos for any of these current events movies

Styles Posted November 14, 2003 Report Posted November 14, 2003 Hmm...I live in Montgomery County (well, when Im not at school) and lived through that happy time, so I was interested in seeing it but never got to and my sister said it wasn't worth it and really sensational and everything was made more dramatic than it really was.
