Latest House Show Schedules *Possible Spoilers*

Recommended Posts

Guest Kamui

ALL OF THIS IS POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR SURVIVOR SERIES AND AFTERWARDS (in another words, don't bitch at me if you keep reading after all the periods).....

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

Okay. Here you go (btw, my comments are in bold):

- Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin are set to face the Bashams at upcoming house shows, which indicates a turn for Haas & Benjamin.

(Can't imagine them as faces, but okay.)

- Brock Lesnar will be facing Chris Benoit at house shows for the rest of the year.

(About fucking time.)

- Test will return to the road starting 11/21.

(Boo!)

- Steven Richards & Victoria will work a few matches as faces, possibly as a try-out, against Rico & Jackie Gayda.

(Zuh?)

- Nick Dinsmore will start working RAW house shows on 11/28.

(Heard good things about him.)

- Goldberg vs. Kane World Title matches have been scheduled for December house shows.

(Should have done this BEFORE the shitty Shane feud.)

- Kane and Booker T seem to be headed for a feud soon too.

(Well, that'll suck.)

Now, when you think about it this could reveal a lot. Here's my theories:

-This obviously means Goldberg is retaining against Hunter on Sunday (unless WWE is just trying to fuck with us or something). Now, it seems Goldberg's next opponent is Kane....and God knows that WWE figures that Kane beating Shane is giving him "a rub", so I'm guessing with Goldberg leaving after WMXX this means Kane is beating Goldberg for the title. Which means Kane-Booker T will probably be for the title.

-The question that leaves is what happens to Hunter. If he's not leaving again, I have to say, he must be jumping to Smackdown. If he's not involved in the ME scene on RAW, that's the only other explanation. Plus, it makes sense when you think about it- he'll have tons of fresh opponents over there, which he has none of on RAW, and he and Stephanie probably want to be on the same show now that they're married.

Yeah, that's my speculation. What do all of you think?

Why turn Victoria? She got over because she plays the crazy heel so well (and she's hot.) I guess the WWE's line of thinking is that Stevie is funny and Victoria is attractive (not to mention she comes out to a "pop" song) so they should be babyfaces.

It makes sense in theory, but you shouldn't screw up a good thing.

yeah, i can't imagine haas and benjamin as faces.

they're both not too great on the mic...it's better that they stay heel and not say much.

UMMM? THE FUCK?

Brock has been a heel since July.

Yeah, mesa screwed up there. Meant that for Haas & Benjamin (fixed). That's what I get for trying to start topics while writing matches at the same time. /sigh

I don't see how she'd get over as a face with that music. I mean, I hear that creepy entrance to it, and I just think "Here comes the psycho-bitch.", not "YAY! VICTORIA!". I'm betting that's what most people think too.

MAYBE if they drop that super-creepy entrance. MAYBE.

Really, I think the Shane/Kane feud has had far more crap flung at it than it really deserved. While I don't approve of Shane doing a coast to coast on Raw and this week's dinner was the worst possibly choice of scene for that talk, the idea is to build Kane up as an unstoppable force without feeding him 500 jobbers ala Goldberg.

Yes, it's an SE angle, but on a show where Lance Storm is a PARTY ANIMAL!~ and Hurricane is chokeslamming The Rock (even if he's not doing it anymore), it's not that much more unbelievable.

If they end the Shane/Kane feud NOW and have Kane easily win clean they'll have succeeded in building a big heel. I've long thought the problem with the smark attitude is that they only use match results as the only factor in an angle. "Well, so and so won a match but had to use a foreign object when the ref didn't see so the crowd now thinks he's a pussy."

The thing is that smarks forget that marks are, well, marks. You can build up a big fat heel with almost no matches at all these days, just as you can build a regular babyface with almost no matches at all (witness Shawn's six-month run as a main eventer whle having only about five matches.)

Come on, man. Listen to Kane's reactions, or the ratings Kane's segments have gotten. They don't compare to where they were before this shitty feud started. That's what I'm basing my opinion on.

I didn't say that Kane was completley useless, just that they should have done the feud with Goldberg before the feud with Shane. It's pretty obvious that this feud hasn't done wonders for Kane's heat. Maybe it won't kill it completley as long as Kane goes over, but the fact is that he was more over before the feud than he is now. Hence my statement. Got it now?

Nobody's going to pop a rating anymore, although Meltzer had previously shown statistics showing that Kane was a reliable ratings draw. Shane has probably dampered that somewhat, though.

I agree completely. I had visions of Kane/Goldberg back when they were just booking the match with the mask on the line. I'm just saying I don't think the angle is as worthless as some think.

I would pay $35 to watch Kane sit-up from the spear.

Imagine if he sat up from the spear and kicked out with authority after the Jackhammer

Just because Goldberg is fighting Kane, it doesn't mean it is for the title.

Kane could hit Goldberg with the chair or something to cost him the title, that way a feud will start.

They could just put the World Title in there to fuck with the public.

That might be correct, but read what the actual article says:

"Goldberg vs. Kane World Title matches have been scheduled for December house shows."

So how exactly is Goldberg supposed to defend the title against Kane if he's not the Champion?

In another words: only way Hunter is walking out of SS this Sunday with the title is if: A) WWE is fucking with the net (slight possiblity) or B) Hunter gets things changed last-minute (bigger possibility).

Anyone who thinks Hunter isn't going to leave SS with the belt is delusional. He needs his wedding present from Vince...

According to this weeks Torch, the Stevie/Victoria vs. Rico/Jackie matches may be part of an upcoming angle. In RAW commentary they are (and will be I guess) dropping subtle hints questioning Stevie's sexual preferences, leading to some type of run-in with Rico, which will in turn lead to the feud/mixed tags.

Though I'm sure Yuna is ecstatic about this, I am so not looking forward to seeing Stevie become Adrian Adonis II.
