Action Figure prices

Anybody know where I can find how much my KISS first and second series action figures are worth without buying a magazine? They're all still in their original packages of course.

I'm speaking of the Todd McFarlane series obviously

I was at a toy show in January of this year and those were on sale in their packages for around $3, and Gene Simmons for $5, so take that how you will.

I doubt they were the first series though as they stopped making those a couple years back...could be one of the newer series though

I have all of the first series, all of the Psycho Circus series and half of the third series

I'm sure there's a figure collecting book you could pick up at a Barnes & Noble or whatever your local bookstore is.

Ya, thing is I dn't wanna pay $10 for the Wizard magazine...which is why I'm asking

No, they were first series, it was a retro/collectors expo thing. I bought them all and kept them in the package, as I had opened the ones I got when they were new. A lot of stuff there was a a fair bit lower than list price though, so 10 or 15 dollars seems like a fair estimate. Simmons will be worth slightly more though.

Yeah, I recommend checking out eBay. More times than not, you'll be surprised how little so many figures go for. It'd be cool for a collector, but sucks for someone like me, who hoarded all my (or most) of my toys from my younger years and now I see they're not worth much. That's not why I saved them, but looking to get rid of some, I found that it'd almost not be worth it to sell them.

Have you tried walking into the store, grabbing and looking through the magazine, and then putting it back?

That would work.

Wizard magazines are kept in the plastic magazine baggies, thus it don't work
