PLAGIARISM! Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 So yah, Clean Rob, let's party. In order to celebrate me having wasted 2 decades now, I suggest everyone download 'Birthday Boy' by The Residents.
1234-5678 Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 Happy Birthday. Might I suggest taking a shot of Tequila out of a hot girl's tits, or slamming down beer bongs until you can't see 5 feet in front of you.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 Acid party, murder at the late show.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 Congrats, saturn. You are now old enough to appreciate English Settlement. Happy listening!
Steviekick Posted November 27, 2003 Report Posted November 27, 2003 Happy Birthday~! I hope you get to put someone in the Rings of Saturn to celebrate.
PLAGIARISM! Posted November 27, 2003 Author Report Posted November 27, 2003 Congrats, saturn. You are now old enough to appreciate English Settlement. Happy listening! We shall see. You seem to change your favourite one all the time.
Anakin Flair Posted November 28, 2003 Report Posted November 28, 2003 Don't feel to bad. I didn't even get a birthday thread *cries* oh, yeah. Happy Birthday!
PLAGIARISM! Posted November 29, 2003 Author Report Posted November 29, 2003 I've spun English Settlement a few times now, and the main problem is for an album where all the songs have a common theme, it's just too fucking long. Thus, it's very good but Nonsuch still kicks the shit out of it, and I actually think there's better material scattered over Mummer, Black Sea and Drums and wires as well.
Nighthawk Posted November 29, 2003 Report Posted November 29, 2003 A better choice is to play Slide It In, get drunk and fall down the stairs. Happy birthday.
PLAGIARISM! Posted November 30, 2003 Author Report Posted November 30, 2003 A better choice is to play Slide It In, get drunk and fall down the stairs. Happy birthday. I've been drunk all week (booked it off work~!) and fell off a podium to cap off friday night, which was a great visual I imagine. Loads of people up on a kind of mini stage, gradually filtering down, till there's this one guy for the last song and at the end he slips and falls off to cheers of the remaining folk underneath. It just...worked.
