MrRant 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2003 LAUNCH Radio Networks With a new box set and DVD out, and two more box sets in the works, Motley Crue is looking at a possible reunion for next year. But bassist Nikki Sixx (news) told LAUNCH that fans shouldn't get their hopes up too much, since he doesn't see the band continuing on past that. "I feel more comfortable calling it a farewell tour, 'cause I don't know, really, if the band should last...you know, 25 years, that's a long time to be in a rock-and-roll band," Nikki Sixx said. "I tried to break the band up at five years, 10 years, 15 years, so, you know, I probably won't get my wish (laughs)." The four-CD box set Music To Crash Your Car To, Vol. 1 features the group's first four albums, which have been expanded with demos and other bonus material. The second and third volumes of the series should come out next year. The Greatest Video Hits DVD includes 21 videos and comes in both explicit and edited editions. Motley Crue is in preproduction for a film version of their autobiography the Dirt.

jimmy no nose 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2003 No Tommy Lee. No Me. Thats my Motto goes Tommy Lee is a part of this tour. MTV.com has a story up from just a few days ago. It says Tommy will be back on the drums for the band, but him and Vince still haven't spoken to each other. Sixx is also quoted as saying they are going to record new music. http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1480624/2...124/story.jhtml
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2003 this won't be a farewell tour and everyone knows it. The hip thing is to do farewell tours when you are 60 in front of a crowd that can't let go of the past.
B. Brian Brunzell 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2003 Considering the fact that Vince Neil can't stay sober or play a show without going nuts, I'd say that there won't be any reunion. When I saw Motley three years ago, Vince sucked, and from what I hear, he's only become worse with age.
