I always hear about the 76 Bucs and 62 Mets (Although the 1899 Cleveland Spiders are technically the worst MLB team ever), but I never hear about the worst NBA team ever. So which NBA team had the worst record of all time?

Dallas was worse than the Grizz in 1992-93 (and 93-94, for that matter). 11-71 and 13-69, respectively. 11-71 was the Nuggets record in 97-98, too. There are others, too (Clippers were 12-70 in 86-87), but I'm not big enough of a basketball fan to know them all.

Not that Vancouver's winning 14 games that year is anything to write home about, but you best be respecting Big Country, son.

Quite possibly the worst two consecutive seasons ever in sports history.

That or the first two seasons for the Tampa Bay Bucs (2-26), but they had the "expansion excuse"... plus they made up for it two years later by going to the NFC title game

I like how Big Country retired cause he got sick of losing. It shows that he knew nobody in their right mind would be interested in him

Big Country had a fat contract, so he got paid pretty decently when playing. He averaged double figures scoring too and was overall a decent player. But fuck that, was there ever a more backwards goofy ass looking player?

Who was the coach for Dallas' oh so magnificent season of 11-71 record? I don't follow the West Conference as much as the East (Knicks fan) so my history is bad.
