The Missing is the kind of movie this time of the year that will linger in the top ten without suffering a steep decline in box office numbers. It could end up doing decent money.

2. Honey

Let me guess...

You're on crack, aren't you?

If crack makes you tell the truth, then I guess I am.

First number is the current weekend. Second number is the total amount the movie has made during it's entire release.

I hope Honey bombs and bombs and bombs. The past six times I've been to the movies, I've been subjected to its shitty trailer probably eight times. Good lord, that whole premise is annoying.

Jessica Alba, however, can keep posing for Maxim. Growl.

Other than "latina" from NY doing "urban dancing", I don't see it.

That's what I meant...The whole girl from the bronox type thing...

Not the Ben Affleck glitzy glamour girl we know her as.

Jessica Alba would have helped Honey.....but then they put Missy Elliot in it. I don't care if she's only in the movie for 5 seconds.....it immediately warrants a zero-star rating. Sad, but true.

But as we've learned...

Rap star in an actual movie = it will have some box office success

I don't know why, but it's usually the way it is.

Explain "Made" for me then...

Had the biggest rap star(P. Diddy) and it bombed and god knows there are countless other movies with Rap stars that bombed.

The movie was released in Early 2001 i believe...just at Diddy's Peak.

Because it was a indie film and got no publicity? I had never heard of it.

It must've been further attempts by him to add acting to his resume. Which he appears to be doing without taking big roles in shitty action movies ala DMX.

In the 'burbs and media he was and to a lesser degree now. Now he's mainly known for all his other shit.

He's a bigger star than he should be that's for sure. Damn suburban kids.

I still think the guy is a genius with Business.

Can't say the same for Rap.

Notice he hasn't even done anything with rap lately?

I believe he hardly pays any attention to Bad Boy anymore and focuses on Sean Jean.

There's no doubt that he has business savvy. He was also smart to personally get out of music.

Um...

- Da Band released their album not too long ago, and currently working on their second album.

- Loon just released his album.

- Carl Thomas is getting ready to drop his new album.

He's not doing anything with Music ?

Anyway, back to the Box Office Report.

Of course Bad Boys are still running...it's not like he abandoned it but let's face it...

He's been more attentive to Sean Jean and his other business ventures right now.

Get it straight, Puffy's peak was clearly in 1997. He practically dropped out of the public's eye musically during his trial in 99/2000 and came back strong in 2001, but he's not NEARLY as big as he was in '97 when Bad Boy ruled the radio.

Ok we've discussed p diddy way more then we should.

Haunted Mansion and CitH both sucked balls, IMO. The Missing was nothing spectacular, but worth seeing once. For all of its warm fuzziness, Elf was pretty damn funny. Plus, Zooey Deschanel is HOT.

Bad Santa was the funniest damn thing I've seen this year. Ritter was spectacular as the squeamish store manager, and the "Fuck me Santa!" line had me rolling. This movie officially turned me into a Coen Brothers fan. The awesome Hellboy trailer in front of it didn't hurt either.
