And with that team's coaching, I wouldn't bet against them shutting down KC's offense. It will all be decided in the playoffs -- Man, there will be some awesome games this postseason...

Kansas City has been dominant, but their division is really bad, and they haven't had a lot of real challenging teams. The Patriots probably have the most impressive resume in football, with an 8 game winning streak that includes the Dolphins in Miami, the Colts in Indy, and the Titans at New England. I think that when the Patriots are fully healthy, they're probably the best team in football. And to anyone who thinks they're getting lucky, you don't get 3 lucky wins like that over Miami, Tennessee, and Indy. They're very well coached, they don't take themselves out of games, and they win. It's like watching the 2001 season all over again. And my rankings are: 1) Kansas City 2) New England 3) Tennessee 4) Indy

Ummm, bad news, Fox. Other than Parcells, and lately Keyshawn, most of the big stories have been in the AFC this year: KC and their amazing start, the Bengals and the way that Lewis has turned them around, the Patriots 8-game unbeaten streak, the battle for the division lead between the Colts and Titans. I'd put the list of top teams in the AFC as: 1. New England 2. Kansas City 3. Tennessee 4. Indianapolis 5. Denver 6. Miami 7. Cincinnati 8. Baltimore (this was supposed to be a top 10 list but I can't think of another team really worthy of a spot ... sorry, Texans fans.)

When McNair is out, or isn't really on his game, the Titans are fairly easy to beat. I don't see similar weaknesses in any of the other three teams.

They've beaten the Colts, Titans, Dolphins, Cowboys and Eagles this year, and done all of it with a rash of injuries that would have crippled many other teams (At one point their top 3 recievers were all out so they had to sign TWO free agent WR's in one week {JJ Stokes and Dedric Ward}).

I'm going by who I think has a better chance of representing the AFC in the Super Bowl (and thus has a better chance of winning it) and I just can't see the Colts pulling it off. The Pats offense is pretty banged up right now, and still put a ton of points on the board. And Indy's got some injuries of their own to worry about now (nothing as severe as McNair being out, though) and because of that couldn't even put in their normal goal-line offense when it was down to crunch time against New England on Sunday. If Indy beats Tennessee on Sunday, I'll gladly flip-flop the two teams and put the Colts as the #3 team in the AFC (and thus the #4 team in the league right now)

KC can run, Indy can run, and NE can run at times, but Tennessee can't and that one glaring weakness will kill them come playoff time because if George can't produce, McNair will get blitzed almost ever down and the receivers will get double-covered(not all at the same time, obviously).

I'd take Eddie George over the Cloud/Faulk/Smith trio any day of the week. Maybe the Eddie George from four years ago, but today's Eddie George just plain sucks, for one reason or another. Cloud/Faulk/Smith have better combined stats (285 carries, 1016 yards, 7 TD) than does George (233 carries, 747 yards, 5 TD) this year.

Yes. And the AFC Champion willl be worn out playing against all of these great teams. If a team like Philly or Dallas gets through to the Super Bowl, they could easily win it.
