He sat out the sequel, but may return for part 3...

 

Paul Walker recently told Ananova.co.uk the following about Vin Diesel's interest in The Fast and the Furious 3.

 

"Nothing's definite - you know how this town works! But the sequel did really well and rarely do you see a sequel reach the success of the first one. We actually did much better, so I think we'll go back and do a third one, and we're hoping Vin will be on board. It will be great - me, Tyrese and Vin."

I don't know how that will work. I mean, with only two Academy Awards achievable for acting (Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor), I'm not sure these three talents could co-exist. And besides, it wouldn't be fair to the Academy to be forced to recognize only two of these guys with awards when your faced with having to pick from the three most talented actors in the industry.

Funny I remember Diesel saying one of the reasons he didn't came back was that he didn't think that Fast and Furious would do good as a franchise. I guess after seeing the money it made Diesel's singing a different tune.

I'd be down for all three of 'em. I liked 2Fast a LOT more than I expected too, because I treat it as the mindless fun it is. I don't compare it to The Usual Suspects like some other people do. I go to the movies to have fun.

 

I also refuse to believe that Bad Boys 2 was not a good movie.
