We also can’t change that he simply isn’t very good in the ring. One thing that can change, however, is his total lack of heat. Since we’re in it for the long haul (barring injury) with Orton, we might as well try and think up ways that they can actually get the oaf some real, consistent heat. He will still be bad in the ring, and still be shoved down our throats, but he will at least be over. So, can anyone think of a surefire way to get Randy Orton some good heel heat? We have to take into account that he has almost Test like ability to get surething heat grabbing angles and get silence. But, that doesn’t mean we can’t think of something new an original (and then bitch when WWE doesn’t do it) to FINALLY get this guy a little heat.

In a cage, ala the 4horsemen beatdown on Dusty Rhodes where they broke Dusty's leg. Have him out of action for a few weeks selling it, learning some skills in the meantime. When he comes back, he saves a top face from getting a similar shit-beating. When he wrestles Evolution in follow-up tag matches, he plays Ricky Morton and continues to ge the ever loving shit beat out of him until after about 10 minutes of this he finally makes the tag and that face gets to clean house and earn the impossible win. It will get him and his partner over until he can do so on his own.

And then he can act like he's some huge UBER-FACE...waving to the crowd, asking them to clap for him, etc... meh...I can't think of anything else...

Have him talk in the third person when talking about himself as well. Drop the Legend Killer bullshit since he hasn't killed one damn legend. I could do a Hawk joke here, but I refrained cause that would be cruel and cold and...well, I'm not established enough to try it. Then give him a female valet, possibly that Diva search woman, who cares a mirror around for him. And when I say mirror, I mean a full body mirror that she wheels out and then during a match he can throw his first opponent (Tommy Dreamer) through it so he can show he has a violent side. A cocky dick who loves himself but is also brutal? How can that NOT get him over?

I would prefer that it would be more like Randy is not living up to the Evolution standards. They would bring up the times that Randy screwed up and there has been many many times, but Flair (as Anderson) would say that Randy redeemed himself with the run in from a past match, but this time the run in made HHH lose the match and this is the last time we let this slide then Evolution beats Orton to a bloody mess.

No, not like the HBK thing, but seriously fuck them up. Deliberately seeking out the very successful wrestlers and punking them out, and actually wining feuds moderately clean. For example, have him harass Austin. Constantly. Make Austin look like he's constantly looking over his shoulder. And even if Austin wins a few matches, Orton doesn't let up with the sneak attacks during promos, pre/post match...and have him do it right before Austin is able to do something the crowd loves watching Austin do (give the finger at the corners, drink beer). Now have him do the same thing to Undertaker. Yes, different brands, but Orton doesn't care. He sets his sights on legends, and goes after them until her gets them.
