I might not be the right man to ask, because I'm probably the biggest fanboy for SF you'll ever talk to, but I think every album is sheer genius. Somber Eyes To The Sky is one of the better death albums I've heard, and Of One Blood and The Art Of Balance really kinda prove that they'll be huge one day.

If you dig Shadows Fall, check out Killswitch Engage. Both formed from the ashes of Overcast, I do believe.

Correct, friend. Brian (SF's singer) and Mike D. (KsE's bassist) were both in Overcast. Mike is also a freelance artist, and designed the cover art for Art of Balance and the European only Fear Will Drag You down of SF.

Is the Shadows Fall CD any good? I've been noticing it a lot at work lately because I've been flirting with buying the Senses Fail ep.

Senses Fail is very bland. Avoid it.

I know. I hear Killswitch Engage all the time at my buddies house(me and him are the only ones at my school who listen to heavy metal(Or whatever the fuck you wanna call it) Anyway, maybe ill pick up a KSE CD but I dunno, as Xmas is coming up, so I don't want to go overboard(plus I don't make much $$$). Anyway, it is about fucking time.

Just download some KsE tracks. The album, overall, isn't worth buying. "The Element Of One," "Numbered Days," "My Last Serenade," and "Just Barely Breathing" are the stand-out tracks of their Roadrunner LP. I haven't heard their EP yet, but half of the album seems to have been repeated for Alive Or Just Breathing?, so I'd say skip it.

Alive or just breathing is overall worth buying. The self titled one is forgettable, so I wouldn't reccommend it unless you really get into KsE and have to be a completist.

I wasnt planning on getting the self titled one. Plus, there is only two places around here that sell used CDs. One is a video store that has CDs in NO order and it would take you 4 hours to find what you want(Plus most of the CDs are thrashed and in shitty quality). The second is better, but at both places the used ones are like 7.99 or 8.99 when I can get a new CD at Best Buy for 9.99-13. I dont see how the $4 is going to help much. But, thanks again for the reccomendation.

Well that's all well and good if you've got a good library. All the libraries around here just suck when it comes to getting metal. I think the most metal CD I've seen in the library near me was Puddle of Mudd.

Libraries are great for any kind of jazz or classic-type material. I can safely say I've never found any Gorgasm or Satyricon next to the little old lady behind the desk.

Man, just got AOB and OOB, me and my buddy are both looking for SETTS. Jeez, these cds kick so much ass.CoreyLazarus, continue the SF support, rock on, and thanks for making me notice the damn band.

Also, What the fuck??? I have a HUGE library near me and it has NOTHING musically good(In the way of metal or lyrical music). Nothing I would normally listen to. I don't know what library you go to, but I'd like to see it.

Damn...Skinlab is one of the better nu-metal bands (and yes, they're classified as nu-metal by the band members and Century Media) I've heard, even if their cover of "Bullet With Butterfly Wings" sucks, and "Come N' Get It" was better on the demo version...

See, Spike? Never doubt the L-A-Z.

My Local Libary carries alot of 80's Rock (they are quite fond of Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi) but they have an LARGE assortment of Rap albums but yeah not much metal...

Disturbed is about the "HARDEST" thing I've seen there.

Nevermortal wins the award for gayest signature and avatar in the universe. King Diamond needs have an accident with some pyrotechnics. Not only that, you picked my absolute most hated King Diamond song in the history of King Diamond songs.
