Guest JacK Report post Posted December 20, 2003 I may be like the World's Most Igonorant Person (Patent Pending!) but who is Eagen? And why did he get banned in the first, seemingly many bans-ago place?
TSA09 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2003 Eagan's banning Eagan was an annoying little fuck that had nothing better to do so he go on a witch hunt to find Prince Paul. All new posters were called Prince Paul and it was getting stupid. Eagan wouldn't shut the fuck up about it and people started getting pissed off. If you've ever read or seen Arthur Miller's "The Crucible" then you'll know what Eagan was acting like. Read pages 2 & 3 and you'll see why he's gone. While he may have done things that I never saw that led to his banning, I saw absolutely nothing in that thread that warranted his banning, unless questioning a mod's actions is considered a bannable offense. Before he came on as "Waldo" I'd just known him as "the theme guy" from my pre-register lurking days on the WWE board, but after meeting him under the Waldo name I found him to be an allright guy, myself. Not to mention there's quite a few people on the list ahead of him I'd think would warrant a ban (you know the usual suspects) Personally, I wonder if the mods just let him register repeatedly so they can get a huge chubby pulling the trigger to their banguns

While he may have done things that I never saw that led to his banning, I saw absolutely nothing in that thread that warranted his banning, unless questioning a mod's actions is considered a bannable offense. 9. Obey the Mods. Yes, they are posters just like the rest of us. We’ve not against you speaking your mind and disagreeing if you feel that we’ve made a poor judgment call whatsoever. However, they are the police of TSM and just like the real police, disobeying is a crime. If you're warned by one of them for whatever reason and you don't comply, you WILL be banned. Firstly, it is there in the rules. Secondly, I'd like to ask if you'd been around just before he was banned (and I mean just); he literially took over some threads and did the hijacking that most trolls do. Plus, frankly, he WAS warned publicly quite a few times about his over-reaction to Prince Paul and his hunting for trolls that were/were not there. He wouldn't comply and apparently (as shown in that thread) bitched about it in the wrong fashion (and was pushing the limits), hence he was banned.

July or so I think, though I admit that I confined myself mostly to reading the wrestling forums, which I know is ironic in that since I actually joined, I rarely post in the wrestling forums as opposed to the Pop Culture and Forums Stuff forums. Back to the subject, since I lurked on the wrestling boards, I saw Eagen as the guy who posted themes and occasionally made wisecracks (not unlike myself). After meeting him under the Waldo name, I didn't see where any big issue was. When TSA posted that thread, I was expecting something shocking that might actually change my view, but all I was just greeted with Eagen questioning APO, which I hardly saw as bannable. And given that exceptions have been made for reinstatement in spite of rule #7, in the words of Ludvig Borga, I think the whole situation stinks funny

And most are explained if you find the right thread. I'm not about to explain why any unbanning occured, because you'd have to talk to the person who did the unbanning (as I'm not a mod) to get the knowhow into it. As I had said before, Eagan was warned many times before that incident. He wasn't getting the hint that he should stop, so what else where they supposed to do? Offhand I can think of three reinstatement cases I've either heard of or seen Johnson Banned for: Dunno Reinstated because: Dunno this either Banky Banned for: Not sure exactly, though I imagine it's not hard to guess why Reinstated because: Supposedly "saved the board" (though the veracity of this is disputable to some) Sakura Banned for: Wishing death on Damaramu Reinstated because: On-the-record is because she supposedly didn't know it was against the rules and shouldn't have been banned for it. Off-the-record belief among some is because she's friends with Dames. Not exactly exceptional cases, as far as I can see, but that's just my opinion
Guest JacK Report post Posted December 21, 2003 Ahh, ok; thanks for that. Why'd he care about that other guy anyway? Edit: Or, nevermind, I hate seeming like a tool and asking so many stupid lameass questions.
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2003 Johnson was banned because Banky thought he hacked into his account (due to something Johnson had in his sig) Banky realised it was all an error on his part and Johnson was reinstated

Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted December 21, 2003 Eagan has shown to be nothing but a pathetic trouser stain who needs a messageboard to live. That alone deserves banning. The real reason though: He was originally given a week's suspension after getting into it with some of the moderators and calling every new poster Prince Paul. He gladly ignored this suspension and registered another name, Ecto Cooler, so he could post during his week-long suspension. He didn't even make an attempt to mask who he was, much as he doesn't make any attempt with each reincarnation. The moderators were nice enough to let the loser continue normally after the week was over, despite it being glaringly obvious how fargone of a reject this guy was. He continued the behavior that got him suspended in the first place, so he was rightly axed. The only reason anyone even tolerated him in the first place was because he posted themes in the WWE folder, and the retards in there keep clamoring for him to return and post more, so he keeps coming back. Well, he comes back for that and his need to flex his microscopic nuts on a messageboard. I might not seem like I care about "board history" and all that, but I notice when shit like this happens. It's hard to avoid, especially when it takes over the entire board, as it is oft want to do.
Guest Leary Report post Posted December 21, 2003 Eagan has shown to be nothing but a pathetic trouser stain who needs a messageboard to live. I just find it amusing that you guys make a big deal out of me taking 5 minutes out of my time to post everyday. This is coming from the same people that told me "JUST IGNORE THE TROLLS AND THEY'LL GO AWAY EAGAN!". Funny how that worked out.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2003 I do think it's stupid to shine attention on to you everytime you register a new name (even though you are terribly pathetic), but I've gotta wonder why exactly you continue to register here? You never make it a big deal to cover up who you are or anything like that and let's face it, those who don't hate you (which are pretty few and far between), honestly couldn't give two shits if you posted here or not. No one's losing sleep because you can't post here, and it's not like you have anything to gain by continuing to register new names here, so I fail to see a point. Please enlighten me before you are once again banned.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2003 Oh, and dude, if you're gonna keep registering here, at least be original. There's already a guy who went by here a while back with a Dennis Leary inspired name.
Sass 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2003 From now on Eagan, there will be a scorched earth policy towards your actions. The threads you start will either be closed or deleted. If people want wrestling theme songs they can use one of the multi-media programs.
