BifEverchad Posted December 17, 2003 Report Posted December 17, 2003 I just got back from college, where I recieved my marks from the first term. I passed everything with flying colors! Including the two courses I was sure I failed. Accounting and Document Production were good courses, although I blame myself for not studying as much as I should have for the final, but made me paranoid and kinda upset for the past week. But today a TON of weight was off my shoulders as I passed everything and got into my faculty. Sorry if this is a "stupid" post or whatever, but I'm just really excited, forgive me. Woohoo! Bif
Guest Bottled Black Posted December 17, 2003 Report Posted December 17, 2003 Cograts. I definitely don't miss the headache that was school.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 17, 2003 Report Posted December 17, 2003 Wait a few years -- you'll shrug off your grades...
Guest JacK Posted December 21, 2003 Report Posted December 21, 2003 Well done, it's always good to get good marks, and celebrate . . . cept when you feel sick for days after. I'm still feeling the effects of my after-Higher School Certificate result celebrations, 3 days later . . . but lookin at that UAI makes it all worthwhile
Matt Young Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 Congratulations. Despite the fact that I'm of the belief that grades and intelligence aren't related (I know a lot of smart people who suck ass at school just because they don't try hard enough, and vice versa) you seem like an intelligent individual and I'm glad your hard work has paid off. No matter how much school sucks sometimes, I know it feels good to have the justification of receiving a report card full of A's (B's are OK, too... but you get the point). To borrow a term from those crazy Brits/Aussies/anyone not American... Cheers! Sorry, I just needed an excuse to use that emoticon. I'm pretty fucked up off about half a fifth of peppermint schnapps right now. EDIT: You have the best sig image ever. Matt Young- Hart mark since 1991.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 Congratulations on the passing marks. I wish I could say the same for my grades this semester, but I can't. Once I realized that the music program at West Liberty sucks, I lost all my motivation and stopped going to class. My GPA was at a Blutarski level. No worries though, as once I get my history classes, nothing lower than a 3.5 will be acceptable.
Guest Jimbo Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 ugh, I had finally pushed my own school crap out of my mind and stopped worrying, and now you go and remind me about grades, have a shitty christmas...grrr....
Sonic Reducer Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 Congratulations. Now burn the tie-dye, cut the hair, put on some shoes, and get yourself a job.
