MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 21, 2003 Report Posted December 21, 2003 If the Ravens win the division, they'll play one of the two wild cards. They've beaten all 3 teams in contention in the playoffs before.
King Kamala Posted December 21, 2003 Report Posted December 21, 2003 Flyboy and Bob Barron should be in here fuming any second now. *looks at watch* btw missing an extra point is pathetic!
Slayer Posted December 21, 2003 Report Posted December 21, 2003 If the Ravens win the division, they'll play one of the two wild cards. They've beaten all 3 teams in contention in the playoffs before. Those years were different from this year As for this year, they did beat the Broncos, didn't play the Titans (though I don't think the Ravens could beat them), and lost to Miami
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 21, 2003 Report Posted December 21, 2003 So Jamal needs 153 against the Steelers next week? That should be one interesting game. I can't imagine the Steelers would be too happy to have someone break the single-season rushing record on their watch, especially with their defensive tradition. I honestly dont think he'll get 153 yards. He only needs 48 yards for 2000 and he'll get that. If the Ravens are ahead late by more than 2 scores, Billick will probably sit him like he did today to keep him from getting hurt so they'll have him for the playoffs.
CanadianChris Posted December 21, 2003 Report Posted December 21, 2003 Man, the Cardinals defenders SUCK. I mean, they just plain SUCK! They're the SUCKIEST bunch of SUCKS that ever SUCKED.
Cuban Linx Posted December 21, 2003 Report Posted December 21, 2003 Should Seattle win today, but Green Bay finish the year with the second wildcard spot, would that make Seattle the first team to be undefeated at home yet still miss the playoffs?
Slayer Posted December 21, 2003 Report Posted December 21, 2003 Who would get the last wildcard spot it Seattle and GB win out? Although I'm guessing given Seattle's road record that it'd be obvious, but I want to be sure
Cuban Linx Posted December 21, 2003 Report Posted December 21, 2003 Green Bay beat Seattle in week 5, so i guess the Packers make it.
CanadianChris Posted December 21, 2003 Report Posted December 21, 2003 (edited) EDIT: Missed that. Yeah, Green Bay gets in on head to head. Thing is, if they both win out and get to 10-6, you could have other tiebreakers (against Dallas and Minnesota), which would mean the GB/Sea head to head game wouldn't come into consideration. EDIT AGAIN: Minnesota would win a tie-breaker with Green Bay for the division if both finish at 10-6. If Dallas, Green Bay and Seattle are all tied at 10-6, Green Bay would be eliminated, having the worst conference record of the three teams. So, Seattle cannot win a tiebreaker with Green Bay, but they would advance in a three-way tie with Green Bay and Dallas. Edited December 21, 2003 by CanadianChris
Cuban Linx Posted December 21, 2003 Report Posted December 21, 2003 Philly just had both it's starting outside linebackers hurt on the same play.
CanadianChris Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 The Eagles had better get their asses in gear, or we're going to have to suffer the Rams in the Super Bowl again.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 TOUCHDOWN! Tie game, bitchets.

Damaramu Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 Come on Eagles! Finish it! Finish it!
CanadianChris Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 McNabb picked off. This one's over.
Slayer Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 Goddammit... Who do the Rams have next week?
CanadianChris Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 Goddammit... Who do the Rams have next week? Lions on the road.
Slayer Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 Goddammit... Who do the Rams have next week? Lions on the road. ..... Odds on St. Louis making the SB just went up bigtime <string of profanity>
CanadianChris Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 I just listened to the Saints broadcast of the end of their game. The colour guy, seeing the PAT going wide, just gave this anguished, "NOOOOOOO!!!"
ANKLELOCK Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 Im actually really pumped up for Sunday Night Football. I wonder why? GO BRONCOS!! KILL MANNING!
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 The Patriots are now officially the number 1 team in the league...followed closely by the Colts and Rams.
the pinjockey Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 I just have to say that losing Carlos Emmons was the absolute worst thing that could happen to the Eagles defense. He had become their leader, besides being an excellent player, while Dawkins was out. I am now officially worried. They still need to work on getting Westbrook at least 20-25 touches a game.

The Eagles are in trouble. We all know how Donovan F. McNabb goes in surges and has trouble readjusting his game after a tough loss. Next week is the BIG test. But Emmons hurts them badly.
the pinjockey Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 This is why I wouldn't have been sad about them losing a few weeks ago, like the Saints game or another unimportant one. They were going to have a bad week at some point. But now you have it this close to the playoffs, you can go in with the bad momentum. And that final throw he made shows why I didn't mind the fact that people thought he was overrated (I only had a problem with the peripheral stuff). Forcing a throw, in overtime, deep in your own end is bad. Granted Mitchell was an ass for not coming back to it, but you still can't force that.
Damaramu Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 Dammit......I'm going to hate the Super Bowl this year. I hate the Rams and I hate the Patriots......fun........fun...........*pukes*
MrRant Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 I hate the fact I'm probably going to have to root for the Broncos next week.
