Guest MikeSC Posted December 21, 2003 Report Posted December 21, 2003 I don't think "The Daily Show" has ever had a "correspondant" up for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy in the Emmys. Jesus, Steven Colbert might be the funniest guy on television right now --- but you know friggin' Pierce from Frasier will end up the idiotic award. -=Mike
WrestlingDeacon Posted December 21, 2003 Report Posted December 21, 2003 The Daily Show would be considered a variety show, not a standard sitcom. That would put it in the same categories as late night programs like Letterman, Leno and SNL. The program has one several emmys, check it out on imdb.
Mole Posted December 21, 2003 Report Posted December 21, 2003 They don't have a "correspondant" winner.
Sonic Reducer Posted December 21, 2003 Report Posted December 21, 2003 Regardless. Awards don't determine a show's quality. And with that in mind, the Daily Show is the best place to get your news (obviously). It has consistantly rocked ever since Kilborn left.
RavishingRickRudo Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 *Holds up sign* Colbert for God.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 You know what I don't get? Laid?

Guest MikeSC Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 You know what I don't get? Laid? Projecting your issues upon others is a weakness. Don't worry, it'll happen soon enough for you. Theoretically. -=Mike

Nighthawk Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 But seriously, that's the worst comeback ever. It's a glorified "I know you are, but what am I?"

Yeah, Lita said when Test was trying to hit on her all pimp like and Matt showed him up. She meant "oh snap," but she's a moron. Then Scott Keith popularized as a way to highlight a poor comeback line.
Guest JMA Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 I thought Lita said it after Matt said something to William Regal.
WrestlingDeacon Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 Might have been, but I was thinking it was part of the storyline where Test was hitting on everything with a pulse and a pussy. I could be wrong, most of that stuff from that period just runs together for me.
Boner Kawanger Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 It was Regal. He'd just finished teasing them about the probability of their splitting up once the rosters split.
