Steviekick Posted December 24, 2003 Report Posted December 24, 2003 Former BLACK FLAG frontman Henry Rollins has recorded a guest appearance for the new album from actor William Shatner, according to Ananova. Shatner, who played Captain James T. Kirk in the original TV series "Star Trek", has also enlisted Joe Jackson and country star Brad Paisley to guest on the album. The album will be produced by Ben Folds, leader of the BEN FOLDS FIVE, reports the New York Post. Shatner is generally acknowledged as having recorded the worst ever version of a BEATLES' song. He released his spoken word cover of "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" in 1968. I so can't wait for this.
Red Baron Posted December 24, 2003 Report Posted December 24, 2003 people like William Shatner outside Star Trek? *sees clips from Family Guy*
Vern Gagne Posted December 24, 2003 Report Posted December 24, 2003 Nimoy singing < Shatner spoken word
Sonic Reducer Posted December 24, 2003 Report Posted December 24, 2003 Shatner's version of LSD is the best cover in the history of music.
WrestlingDeacon Posted December 24, 2003 Report Posted December 24, 2003 No, his cover of Rocket Man, with video, is the most brilliant thing ever. Nothing make me laugh harder. Ok, maybe fat Elvis doing karate, but it's close. There's a track out there of Shatner with Ben Folds Five. I forget the title, I think it's called "In Love" or something like that.
Guest Smues Posted December 24, 2003 Report Posted December 24, 2003 Rocket man and LSD are great, but nothing, NOTHING, will top Mr. Tambourine man. At the end him yelling MR. TAMBORUNINE MANNNNNNNN like it was KHANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN just kills me everytime.
