the pinjockey Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Well it is the final weekend and three playoff spots are still up in the air (AFC central, NFC central, and second NFC wildcard). But FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK, Brian Westbrook is done for the rest of the season after tearing his tricep tonight in a meaningless bullshit game against the worthless fucking Redskins. FUCK
Guest Redhawk Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 The Eagles still looked really sharp without Westbrook. However, the WERE playin the Redskins, so that doesn't mean a whole lot. Does this spell the end of Philly's Super Bowl hopes? In that case, who's the NFC favorite now? St. Louis? Does this maybe open the door for Carolina to slip into the title game?
the pinjockey Posted December 28, 2003 Author Report Posted December 28, 2003 I don't think it spells the end, because Staley has come up big this season and Buckhalter has the ability to come up big if given the touches. Plus the only remotely scary team in the NFC is the Rams and the Eagles can beat them in St.Louis. But it certainly does hurt their chances, because he was the team MVP up to this point.
Just John Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Good to see New England return the favor to Buffalo. The NFC is fairly open, but I think the Patriots are a lock for the AFC.
Damaramu Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Damn the 49ers! They used to be my favorite team. I still love them but damn they need help to return to there past glory. And one of those things is getting rid of Jeff Garcia's dumbass! He's definetly no Joe Montana and hell he's not even a Steve Young! He's not a real 49er QB dammit! (and don't get me started on ole' Elvis...or as I like to call him "the downfall")
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 ugh. Im sure CBS will show the Browns/Bengals game tomorrow here, but Im gonna go to a (late) christmas party tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get back around 7 to catch NFL Primetime before the Ravens/Steelers game...
Art Sandusky Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Game of the Week is at 4 tomorrow, yo. It's all about Broncos/Packers.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 How dangerous is a team that can choose the score they want to win by? I ask this because the Pats hit 31-0 and then decided to run down the clock when they could have easily kept throwing it into the endzone. Now they have a week off to get healthier followed by a week of practice and a game against what will be a beaten up team (seems all the teams that could possibly be headed into the AFC's first round are beaten up except for Cinci). It feels good when after week 17 your only worries appear to be what running back are you going to grab in the upcoming draft(I'm hoping Kevin Jones) along with coming up with a plan to keep both the offensive and defensive cooridinators here. Its good to be a Pats fan right now.
CanadianChris Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Is ANYONE watching the early games?
Damaramu Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Is ANYONE watching the early games? I'm watching the Cowboys/Saints game..........
fazzle Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 I'm watching Colts/Texans. Or...listening to it in the background, to be more accurate.
CanadianChris Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 And Houston scores AGAIN. Everybody off the Colts bandwagon!
razazteca Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 The Texans will be a playoff team next year, all they need is a healthy QB and one or two more playmakers.
razazteca Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 And Houston scores AGAIN. Everybody off the Colts bandwagon! Instant Replay says incomplete pass so no TD and damn it I should of made this game my upset special of the week.
Human Fly Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 And Kitna makes a stupid, stupid, stupid mistake. The Bengals go to the half empty handed on the last drive. Kitna had his backup RB so wide open in the endzone he had no one around him for 5 - 7 yards. These refs have been making some awful calls too.
CanadianChris Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 I'm going to be pissed if the refs' blown call on the two-point convert costs the Jets the game. As it is, they lead 21-20.
Human Fly Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 The Bengals are playing this game just like they played the Arizona game. We are so close to being a good team, yet so far.
ANKLELOCK Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Titans blowing out the Bucs. Now, somebody give some Texans/Colts Play by Play!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2GOLD Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Wonder what the Bengals will do with Kitna next year. And I can't believe suddenly they have forgotten how to stop the damn run. You stupid, stupid Bengals! Guess the Browns will be bringing down the Marv Lewis express. Shame. Still, they had a damn fine season.
razazteca Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 It was intentional grouding damn it.
2GOLD Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Alright Kitna, MARCH THEM WHEN YOU GET THE BALL! Come on Bengals, march you bastards! Oh damn, they would need a touchdown AND two....they are screwed.
CanadianChris Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Harrison for 16 yards...1st and 10 Colts at their own 46, 1:38 left.
CanadianChris Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Manning runs for 9...2nd and 1 at the Texans 36.
2GOLD Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 17-17 Colts/Texans Colts have the ball and into Texans territory 1:08 2nd and 1 on the HOU 36
1234-5678 Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 How do the Cowboys look this week? Also, looks like St. Louis will lose to the Lions today(hopefully). It's 30-20 Lions with less then 4 minutes left.
CanadianChris Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Rhodes for 5, 1st and 10 at the Texans 31.
2GOLD Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 How do the Cowboys look this week? Like a team that isn't aware they are in the playoffs but think by losing they get a high draft pick.
