Return Of The King already at $223+ Million ? Am I the only one that thinks... nevermind.

I expected good numbers from Cheaper By The Dozen, it's just one of those movies that has everything going for it. I tried to go see it after I finished with Paycheck, but the place was sold out to the top.

Where did Cold Mountain come from ?

Eh, have you seen Paycheck yet ? It's actually a decent movie, I enjoyed it.

But, you are right with the doves.

god, John Woo is done.

I guess people are as sick of his damn doves flying by in slow motion as I am.

Was there a gun fight in a church or hospital also? Did Ben spin around with a trench coat on while pulling his gun out of his holster to kill the bad guys?

I actually plan to see it...but I need one mild spoiler

Does he AGAIN use the damn slow motion doves? I might as well know now so it doesn't ruin the whole film for me if it happens.

1.

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

Yes, there was one big White Dove at the end of the movie.

2.

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

No. There weren't any shootouts in a church or a hospital, no gold guns, no face transplants. But there is Uma Thurman, the usual shootouts, explosions, a chase scene here and there, and Ben Affleck using wooden sticks to beat up the baddies.

Eh, I wish people would leave them alone. Stop blaming them for their actions.

She hasn't done nothing to hurt the guy's career. One bad movie which everybody shitted on but did not see later and everybody jumps off the wagon.

Eh, I say, EH!

Glad to know Elf lasted this long in the top 10. Props to Will Ferrell and all.

Never liked Ben as an actor in the 1st place, so I am indifferent to his personal and professional problems. As for Cold Mountain will it looked like all of the hype on the late night talk shows and Discovery Channel paid off.

Yeah it has.

People have seen WAY too much of Ben, so they won't see his movies.

Make sense?

Um, if i'm correct... I think Paycheck just made a decent amount of change at the Box Office.

Daredevil made a little over $100+Million. Even I say Garner and Farrell outshined him, still good numbers.

I'm not saying any of this because I like both Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, i'm saying this because I think they've gotten alot of bad press that they don't deserve.

Well they can either blame their agents or the papanazis or the tabloid tv shows like Extra.

Why is everybody picking on poor Ben?

Nobody's saying anything about Mona Lisa Smile bombing. Julia Roberts is supposed to be this sure fire box office draw and this last movie is doing nothing.

LOTR's numbers are fucking amazing. I'm actually inclined to believe it'll make $400 million.

The tabloid shows are a huge part of it. When I'm home at night I watch "E! News Live" and their make fun of and rip on Jen and Ben for being over exposed and I just want rip them through and TV and yell "you fucks are the ones who over exposed them!"

Also, hasn't Julia Roberts career taken a small hit? Didn't she go from having a 20 million a picture deal to 12 million? Not like she's going hungry anytime soon, though.

I think Nicole Kidman took Julia Roberts spot of the major female draw now. But considering that there were 3 chick flicks this week I don't think there is anything to worry about.

THANK YOU.

I've mentioned this before, but I think it deserves repeating.

Earlier this year I was watching a baseball game on ESPN between the Red Sox and Angles. Ben and Lopez were at the game and the announcers make a comment about how they were distracting other fans from watching the game.

Of course, ESPN turned the cameras on them, it seemed, just about every inning.

Stupid ESPN announcer: "OMG Lopez is getting up to use the bathroom! We're tired of the overexposure!!!..."

I throw my head back in laughter at the earnings of Paycheck.

And I only say that because Affleck made that half assed comment earlier about his career not being in the shitter enough to the point of making a Daredevil sequel.

Affleck... I love ya, man, but you can be a real moron sometimes.
