Guest Salacious Crumb Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 I wonder how much longer Seattle will allow Holmgren to coach. Can't get his team to win on the road I don't know how fair that is though. They could easily have been 4-4 on the road had the phantom TO and ref tripping the receiver never happened.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 No offense but this "Favre's dad helps him from heaven" stuff is annoying me. Keep religion and the bullshit away fro the football field. What're they going to say next week when my Eagles destroy Green Bay? "Oh, I guess his dad doesn't care". Shut up, announcers. Packers BARELY are beating the Seahawks. I fail to see how the idiots on here say "Eagles have no shot at beating Green Bay". Idiots on here, I swear to God. Please don't tell God I did that though, Mr. Favre.
The Robfather Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 I got no problem with religion and remembering Favre's dad, but yeah, the announcers are laying it on a little too thick.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 Maybe because Green Bay is playing better the last month than the Eagles. And the Packers are struggling because the Seahawks have an awesome offense. The Eagles receivers are nowhere near the threat of the Seahawk receivers.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 This coin flip will decide the game.
treble Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 "We want the ball, we're gonna score!" Awesome.
The Robfather Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 "We want the ball and we're going to score!"
tpww7 Posted January 4, 2004 Author Report Posted January 4, 2004 Someone's gonna look like an ass if they dont.
Art Sandusky Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 "We want the ball, we're gonna score!" Gbaja-Biamila is going to eat him.
Art Sandusky Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 It wasn't a first down anyway, Packers get the ball back whether the fumble is overturned or not.
KingPK Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 Why does it seem to me like referees make these dumb calls since they know replay will save their ass.
Art Sandusky Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 I'd like to add that I haven't heard the "Favre's father is aiding his play from above in Heaven" talk. I actually like the three man #1 Fox team. Then again, they thought Hasselback was cute with his little coin flip remark, so fuck 'em.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 Why does it seem to me like referees make these dumb calls since they know replay will save their ass. I prefer it that way. It's better to do it that way so the team doesn't get screwed out of a turnover/score if they just blow the whistle and make it not reviewable. If they'd change it so you don't lose challenges when you are right...the system would be perfect.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 The Eagles will feast on whoever wins this game.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 Hasselback pissed someone off upstairs with his pre-OT comment
Damaramu Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 INT! GREEN BAY WINS! GREEN BAY WINS! WHOOO! That was an explosion at my house. Me and my mom were rooting for the Packers and my dad was rooting for Seattle. We exploded for that one.
2GOLD Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 Rule #1 If you are going to be cocky, make sure you can back it up. Matt didn't read rule one.
iliketurtles Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 Whoa, Bob Marley won th egame for the Packers. Oh wait.
2GOLD Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 Time to find out if the Eagles have learned how to stop the run. If the game was in the Vet, I'd say the Packers were done. And if the Eagles came in with something that looked like a run defense. Now...should be a damn good game.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 Al Harris and his "Predator" look with a great INT... Packer heartbreak, T-minus 7 days. They should watch "the Ring" to see how their fate will be decided.
