Last night I was listening to the local classic rock station since it's the only decent station nearby and first they played The Eagles "New Kid in Town" followed by Poison's Talk Dirty to Me followed by Metallica's the Unforgiven Part 2 followed by Van Morrison's Brown Eyed Girl. That was such a weird little set of songs than again it's 2 AM on a Sunday morning so nobody's really listening.

Most radio stations use computer software to set up their playlists. They randomly set up song lists and rotation and such. Most of the time they'd fix it up so it wouldn't be random like that, but since no one listens at that time its passable.

after 1 or 2 am is the best time to listen to the radio. If they don't go strictly by computer playlists at all times, they will usually be more adventuresome with their song selection.

Is it Rocktober already?

My local 2 classic rock stations have late night jocks who are usually dissatisfied and drunk, so it's a whole lot of bar music like Boston, Kansas, Kiss, AC/DC, and The Scorpions. Oh god, The fucking Scorpions...
