Well, this is the first any of us have heard of it. Second, no way the WWE, as tasteless as they are, would put the match where Sid breaks his leg on the DVD. They have at least some class. Sid didn't break his leg in 2000, it was at Sin a couple years later. The Benoit/Sid match had the excuse of Sid's leg on the rope and Arn Anderson missing the call. It was a good match from what I hear.

Also factor in they could just show highlights of the bad things in the speaking part of the dvd and then load up the extras with full length great matches.

But with the inclusion of the triple decker cage match and Sting/Hogan, are they actually going to imply that gosh, the orange roid goblin was actually at fault for some of this? If Hogan resigns with them before this thing is released, suddenly it's going to be full of Bret Hart matches.

Its too bad there isnt more good on WCW but hell, we get the fingerpoke of doom, on DVD!

I actually have no real problem about this DVD being released. But I do hate the fact that Vince is trying to rewrite wrestling history because he lost the ratings wars for a small time in the companies history, and the fact that Turner took all his OLD talent. This was also the reason why they fucked up what could have been the greatest angle in the history of professional wrestling(The Invasion). Instead of doing the right thing and trying to do something that would help business and possible spark the wrestling industry again.

WWE doesn't want the world to know that WCW used those wrestlers better than WWE ever did.

Let's wait until 1wrestling, or Silvervision, or highspots, confirms it. What about Raven, Malenko, Jericho, Rick Martel, Booker T, Saturn, Scott Hall? And the rest of the midcard? Martel had a GREAT string of matches in late 1997 - early 1998, but it was hardly a blip on the overall scene. The same goes with Saturn (unless you want to include that angle with Jericho). Malenko/Jericho's feud could be covered on the DVD, as well as Raven/DDP/Benoit (*hint*hint*). I don't think you can really dignify a "Rise Of WCW" and "Fall Of WCW" DVD without including Scott Hall, simply because he was in a lot of integral angles (Outsiders' first Invasion, nWo, Hall being last line of defense for Hogan on 07.06.1998, Goldberg v. Nash, Fingerpoke Of Doom, Hall trashing the TV title)

Shane Douglas vs Flair, Shane vs Kidman, everything Shane ever did in WCW. Hall & Nash as tag team champions. Rap is Crap & DJ Ran. Nitro Girls wrestling. Konnan & Lil Devil Rey Rey....this will never be seen as Rey Mysterio did not have the mask. Stevie Ray the announcer. Mike Awesome the 70's Guy and his chubby chaser angle, Brad Armstrong & Van Hammer as hippies. Glacier.
