44. Motorhead/Triple H entrance

I realize HHH really doesn't have a great Mania moment, but there has to be something better than that.

It does...Lemmy and co. lived out their boyhood dreams of performing to their largest American crowd ever, thanks to their friend Triple H booking them at WM!

Some of those are very wierd choices. Saliva at WMX8 is NOT a WM moment. Not even for Bubba's attempts at headbanging.

Personally being too young for the WM3 moment, it has to be #17 for me. Although #40 is up there for Hardy's Ladder dive, which for it's time was a WWE classic moment.

Triple H doesn't have any great moments that weren't manufactured for him by someone else.

What about when HHH beat 3 men at WM 2000 and retained his title. Heels rarely exit WM with the WWF belt.

My #1 HHH WM moment:

The Ultimate Warrior vs. HHH at WM XII

There was so much intensity in that match.

On another point, (gets ready for flames) WM 13 was my favorite Wrestlemania because it was the first PPV I ever ordered. So I would add the following moments:

1. Undertaker tombstoning Sid and winning the title.

2. Bret Hart tirade before the main event that got him powerbombed by Sid.

3. LOD/Ahmed vs NOD Chicago Street Fight.

I know on the grand spectrum of WM's these are insignificant but WM 13 needs a few more highlights.

The number one WM moment should be Hogan slamming Andre.

My aunt watched Wrestlemania VII with me about 2 years ago. She had never watched wrestling before, and she started crying when Elizabeth ran out from the crowd to help Randy.

That's why #17 gets my vote.

The old school in me says 7. The new school in me says 32. I lean a little towards Hogan and Andre myself.

Anything else getting number one is insulting and will be met with angry Internet words from me.

17 is SUCH a close second place for me, and just for that reason.

But 7 was just so big.

Man, I wish Hart/ Piper from WM VIII was there, simply because it's still my favourite match ever, but you can't disagree with 7, just because it is THE defining wrestling moment. The match is dreadful, but I still watch it often just for that moment

7 & 32 have already been explained. But 15 is the definitive big money match, and seeing Hogan go down clean was a such a big moment at the time. You can also point to that match as the end of the Golden Age of the WWF.

17 & 33 round out the top five. They were just such big markout moments.

I personally voted for Steamboat/Savage. Because I am the one person who's never seen Andre get scoop slammed. Well, other than by Stan Hansen.

Personally, I'd say the end of the Golden Age was over sometime after the first Survivor Series.

Anyway, I'd pick 7, 8, and 32.

Easily...Austin/Rock from WM17, Hart/Hart from WM10, and Austin/Hart from WM13.

Hogan/Andre? What the fuck?

Well you have this big giant Andre who hasn't been slammed prior to this(not counting house shows) taking on a guy who is pretty much a mega star in wrestling at the time and this mega star manages to slam this 500+ pound monster thus vaulting said mega star into legendary status. That's my reasoning for choosing it at least but oh wait, it wasn't a workrate classic so shame shame right Ray?
